1985 "Oh God What have I done" sorry, Sinclair C5

Not if you scratch two 0s off the nameplate of your 25,000w motor, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

I forgot to post this after teasing it in the thread about the Carib.

Look what saw the light of day for the first time in years.

In my defence, the last time it was out was for a charity run through the city centre of Newcastle (I think back in 2018), and I got caught in a thunderstorm on the Tyne bridge. I was very wet, my eyes burned, but the Sinclair survived the water. Unfortunately, never had a vehicle it fit in so it stayed there since.

Those 4 years weren’t entirely kind to it, the tyres and brakes had gone funny and no longer worked but electrically, all survived OK. Loads of people had a go on it at this event, and a couple of people have since bought them.

Just about fits in the Carib with the seats forward and the boot unclipped. Picture of the day was probably the below when it was being piloted by one of the show organisers.
