The rear, on the other hand, is inspired by one seater race cars, with a single brake light at the bottom, as well as angular tailights and a functional wing producing rear downforce, aided by the twin diffusers at the bottom.
All these aero parts, combined with an all carbon fiber, all pushrod suspension design, allow the car to weigh only 911kg, and to pull 1.25Gs at 20m and 1.29Gs at 200m.
The star of the show is the engine, though. A 3.5 liter, mid mounted, naturally aspirated V10. With titanium and billet internals, the engine reaches a peak power of 500hp at a screamingly high 9500rpm; it redlines 500rpm later, at 10000rpm. The sound might remind you of a Formula 1 engine.
The power is sent to the rear wheels through a dual clutch, 7 speed transmission, equipped with an electronic LSD. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7s, while reaching a top speed of 310 km/h.
You’ll be able to experience our vision of a futuristic sports car very soon in GT Sport.
