Sadly, I will be unable to release my car, because my computer is entirely dead.
I hope I’ll be back in the game soon, but it’s not sure :frowning:

Is a Deva Vu.

I think that I need to choose that as brand motto.

2018 Evgenis Valkyrie and Evgenis Valkyrie SW

We welcome you all to the reveal of another brand new model at Evgenis, this time the best there is to offer in the premium hatchback and estate segment, the Evgenis Valkyrie. The goal is simple with this car, to offer a high-quality product that allows for considerable levels of customisability to allow someone to truly reflect their personality and identity in their car, as well as continue to stand by our all-important ethos, “Premium, standard.”

DESIGN
As it is was noted in the recent reveal of the Pegasus, Evgenis now wants to offer a more varied design to the cars in its segment while retaining similar characteristics that make our cards undoubtedly Evgenis. The Valkyrie is the second car to showcase this, offering a more youthful, sporty and customisable look.

The Valkyrie still holds bold statements, continuing the trend at the front with the new, bolder grille design with the logo situated above and the grille flowing effortlessly into the headlight cluster, this time a far sharper and slimmer approach to that offered previously. The rear boasts similar design traits, with a chrome strip running from tail light to taillight and the new Evgenis badge in letters located beneath. Below is a sportier lower bumper design with integrated exhausts.

All Valkyries will come as standard with LED daytime running lights front and rear, with the option to upgrade to our advanced full-LED lighting with startup and shutdown sequences, auto high-beam adjustment and ultra high beam modes. All lighting systems are standard with our popular sweeping indicator system.

All of this applies to the estate variant of this vehicle, which holds the vast majority of the design statements found on the hatchback just with an elongated rear end.

The interior continues the similar trends found on the exterior of clean and modern lines that run continuously around the vehicle.

As already mentioned, customisability is a huge deal with this vehicle, allowing purchases to truly choose the right look for them. We will offer this car with a number of colour choices that is far broader than any other car in this segment, a wide range of alloy wheels from 16 to 19 inches and two different roof designs. As always, this car is available on our Evgenis Custom Collection scheme, offering the best level of customisability possible.

ENGINES
The new Valkyrie will be available with a wide range of petrol, diesel, gas and hybrid drivetrains, with most being available from launch and alternative fuel variants in 2019. The petrol engine lineup consists of a 1.2-litre turbocharged inline 4 with 125 bhp, a 1.5-litre turbocharged inline 4 with 150 bhp and a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline 4 with 180 bhp. All petrol engines will be available in the European market, with only the latter available in the Americas. The diesel engine lineup will include our award-winning 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre diesel engines, offering 120 bhp (1.5), 150 and 185 bhp (2.0) and incredible fuel economy figures. This is also reflected in the estate variant.

Efficiency is key, with all petrol engines getting no more than 5.0 l/100 km (56.5 UK mpg/47 US mpg) in real-world driving, whereas the diesels take it one step further being able to get less than 4.0 l/100 km (70.6 UK mpg/58.8 US mpg) in everyday driving. We feel it is correct for us to reveal realistic figures as we don’t like deceiving our clients with unrealistic consumption claims.

All engines will be available with a choice of transmissions, with either a six-speed manual or our popular eight-speed ZF automatic on offer. Both transmissions have been tuned to offer seamless and enjoyable driving, while not become cumbersome or a hindrance to performance nor economy.

TECHNOLOGY
As with every other model in the Evgenis lineup, we find technology is a truly important aspect of modern day driving, as more and more technology is becoming more widespread. That is why we believed that it was key to offer considerable amounts of technology as standard, as well as very reasonably priced packages that would allow purchasers to access very advanced technologies that most won’t be accustomed to in this segment. We also feel this is a better than offering multiple trim levels as it reduces confusion and allows you to add exactly what you want from your car without getting items you don’t feel you require.

Autonomous features are available as standard, with autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning being fitted all as standard. More advanced autonomous features are available in the “Advanced Autonomy Pack”, offering lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and reverse blind spot assist that will stop the car in the event of a potential collision when reversing out of a blind space.

All Valkyries will be available with rear parking sensors, but an “Advanced Parking Pack” adds surround cameras and surround parking sensors, as well as autonomous parking to really take the sting out of parking.

Estate variants of the car boast some additional options, such as self-levelling suspension and a practicality pack that allows you to fold seats down electronically and adds a variety of additional elements to the boot to make it more useful.

Additionally, all purchasers will be able to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the base model thanks to the standard 8” touchscreen infotainment system, which can be upgraded to 10” with digital cockpit to allow for customisable displays and truly impressive graphics.

INTERIOR
In order to stick to our motto of offering “premium, standard”, the Valkyrie will come with a very upmarket interior that will ensure a sense of durability, as well as a premium feel and being incredibly customisable to suit the needs of each individual, including being open once more to the Evgenis Custom Collection to really add an edge to your car.

As to be expected with premium vehicles, interior materials are of a high standard, with all major surfaces being covered in plush, soft-touch materials, as well as there being a mixture of gloss, wood and metal depending on personal specification. A wide array of different inlays and interior colour schemes will be available, as well as different grades of interior luxury with the car coming as standard with premium cloth seats, upgradable to leather or even Nappa leather. These upgrades also change some of the surfaces of the car from plush, soft-touch materials, to leather-covered surfaces.

Estate variants have some extra features relating to the boot, with all having a carpeted floor as standard with the possibility to add extra features such as wood or metallic elements to make the boot feel that extra bit more special.

The Valkyrie will come standard with 4G connectivity plus emergency callout, with the first being completely free for the first 3 years of ownership, although extensions packages can be purchased, and emergency callout being free for life.

DRIVING
Valkyrie was designed for a very broad market, including youthful and more mature clients, so we wanted a car that could drive exactly as you wanted it to. We continue to offer extremely high-end driving dynamics with this car, as well as sticking to the running theme of customisability.

As standard, the Valkyrie comes with a relatively advanced suspension setup for this segment that has an exceptional blend of comfort and sportiness, with the option to make it even more capable by adding the “Advanced Dynamics Pack”, which will allow for fully customisable driving dynamics ranging from engine response and suspension settings, meaning if you want this car to be engaging and responsive because you want to hoon down a B-road, then that is truly possible, whereas if you simply want to waft along in exceptional comfort on a long motorway cruise then you truly can. We wanted this car to feel like a sports car and/or a luxury car and we feel we really have achieved this.

Also, as mentioned previously, the estate variants of this car can be equipped with even more advanced rear suspension that allows the car to self-level in the event you are carrying large items in the back or even perhaps are towing something of considerable heft.

Available in all markets in September 2018.
UK pricing starting from £20,995 (hatch) / £22,495 (estate)
EU pricing starting from €26,995 (hatch) / €28,995 (estate)
US pricing starting from $24,995 (hatch) / $26,495 (estate)

The launch of this car should have been accompanied by “Ride of the Valkyries”… For something so small, it looks imposing enough to deserve the name!

(The Scylla GT is the only surviving LMC car from when my laptop broke, so rather than trying to remake everything, I’m just gonna slowly create a new lineup as I go. So without further ado…)

2019 Leviathan Maladus GTR

There was an attempt…

A behemoth of LMC’s modern performance technology, the Maladus GTR will take the place of Leviathan’s top-end performance car next year. Utilizing a heavily tuned version of the 4.3L Twinturbo from the Scylla, the Maladus produces 829 hp and revs to a screaming 9800 rpm. The acceleration reaches hypercar levels with a 0-62 mph time of 2.6 seconds. The driver feels a thrilling constant 1g of force through the first 2 gears of hard acceleration Even with the GTR’s aero package significantly reducing top speed in favor of handling, the Maladus still reaches over 200 mph.

The Maladus sports a wide array of features to glue the massive coupe to the road. The AWD system delivers power through a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox with an electric LSD. Even though the Maladus weighs just over 4,000 lbs, it drives like it is much lighter with it’s active high-performance suspension. The car easily pulls over 1.3 lateral g’s through flat turns. The carbon ceramic brakes bring the car to a halt from 60 mph in just 87.5 ft. A limited track-tuned version is yet to come to push the Maladus to the max.

The Maladus doesn’t sacrifice comfort for it’s performance. The leather interior boasts a quality HUD system with revel audio speakers. It is also very spacious for a car in this level of performance. The V12, although making 330 more horsepower, is as smooth as ever. The gas mileage is at a respectable 20.5 mpg combined.
You could practically daily this 829 hp car if you wanted to.

The price for the Maladus GTR is projected to be $108,750 (90% markup) at release. A significantly more inexpensive base model GTS with an N/A V10 is planned as well as a limited Track Edition.

(I wanted to do more but I think that’ll have to be it for the NYIAS for me)

Our fastest super car as of now, the Actio has been face-lifted for the new model year in order to provide for a more aggressive look that its predecessor: Our all new triangle headlamps, and black accented grille and vent fixtures. The Body

The Citatus is sporting the same body shape as our fastest vehicle, the Actio, but has scaled down to make it a compact sports car. ES: Evgenis Sport - 2018 Evgenis Valkyrie ES

Hot and bothered? At last we reveal the sportier division of our company that will be adding a number of faster, performance focused version of our vehicles, first with the brand new Evgenis Valkyrie ES, a hot hatch to send others into oblivion!

The Evgenis Valkyrie ES is equipped with a powerful, 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, revving all the way to 8500 rpm, with 325 bhp, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and rear-biased AWD system, to give the car some incredible straight line performance, topping out at an electronically limited 260 kph (161.6 mph) and reaching 100 kph (62.1 mph) in 5 seconds flat with launch control.

Driving dynamics are exceptional, with the Evgenis Sport team working very hard on maximising the potential grip, fine-tuning the suspension and far, far more to make the most engaging car yet, performing at levels that most won’t believe is even possible for a hot hatchback. An electronic, limited slip differential is equipped on the car as standard, just adding even more capability to the car. To make it clear just how fast this car is, the Evgenis Valkyrie ES managed a lap of the Top Gear Test Track, one of the multiple tracks where the testing was conducted, in an impressive 1:23, faster than any other hatchback around this circuit by over 2 seconds.

On top of all the performance changes to the car, the design has been altered drastically to improve cooling and aerodynamics in favour of the larger engine and greater performance demands, but also to offer a far sportier and engaging stance. These new aerodynamic changes certainly aren’t far show, generating substantial downforce in order to truly push the car into the tarmac, but with it also being active aero it can adjust to suit the needs within in instant, with a computer calculating the position of lips and wings several hundred times a second.

The interior has also seen a revamp, with the entire interior getting an overhaul with far sportier and lightweight materials such as alcantara and carbon fibre inlays, as well as black headlining and a number of other sportier features and ES emblems dotted around the cabin to also remind you that you are in something truly special.

Further information to be revealed closer to the release date of the car. For now, some more images:

Available in all markets in Q4 2018, full date reveal later in the year.
UK pricing starting from £39,995
EU pricing starting from €49,995
US pricing starting from $44,995

Nathan García takes a look at NYIAS!

Hey there! You might know me if you read Devil’s Rods at any point since it started. Thing is, I’ve been sent by the fellas at the Motornation HQ to take a look at what the manufacturers have been showing prior to the show; the Press Days start tomorrow and I’ve been invited as well, but I’ll have to work with what I know for now. Before meeting a certain Brit tomorrow, here’s what I think have been the highlights of the show so far!

  • Shromet and the Appalachian. If it has the offroad worthiness its looks indicate, it should be a strong contender in the good crossover market (not counting crap on stilts). About the teaser, however…I must say I’ve been a bit offended considering my maternal grandmother comes from Mexico, but still, looks like a promising package.

  • TSR Fallwing LSport V12. While the car looks a bit outdated, the twin turbo V12 under its bonnet sounds like it’s going to have some juice with 665hp. They didn’t tell us the price but eh, if the price is right, this could be a car to keep in mind.

  • Nohda presented the Shourai, a little car with huge engines; offering a 2.5L V6 with snails and a 4.7L V8, it has meat and good one at it. At a pricetag of $35000 it is a car I personally would consider prioritary when looking for a sports car.

  • GBSC presented the MV350. I don’t like the looks, I love the internals; these guys went in for the kill with a 680hp V10 in qualifying spec (Presumably?). I’ll just say MMMMMmaybe.

  • Hah, I guessed it, Baltazar! I knew it was Stardust! Looks like they joined the sedan market with their Stardust. It looks quite good, if a bit too sober for me but by no means bad. Looks like it’ll have some meat with an option to make it AWD if you order one of the 2 liter engines. Will have to take a further look at it when they release the rest of the details.

  • Audentia Regulus. The looks were a great attempt but they just need to make their headlights and tailights more modern, they feels quite outdated, ruining an otherwise good styling job. With a 4.6L V8 with 478hp it has meat for sure, with great fuel economy as well! The package it includes makes it sound like a good deal as well; I’ll keep an eye on these fellas.

  • Znopresk Zanzibar! Looks like we have a big boy SUV here, in contrast with the crossovers we’ve been getting. Looks like they’ll be offering a good array of choices when ordering the car: drivetrain, engine, interior color…it’s unusual that they decided to mount the engine transversely, but hey, irrelevant to me to be completely honest. Looks like a damn fine package and one I’ll keep my eye on.

  • Kasai lost their minds making a transverse V12 hot hatch. This is like throwing a hatchback and a supercar in a blender and drinking the outcome; and the idea, I’ll say, sounds good to me. AWD is a selling point to me as well. Meat is what this car doesn’t lack, but sadly the V12 edition will be limited.

  • Evgenis brought us the Valkyrie. A premium hot hatch from $25000? Sign me the [censored] up. The looks are simple but functional and elegant, and they promise a broad range of options to customize our car, from paint to the rims and even the roof. The range of engines will include petrol, gas, diesel and hybrid with some meat to them and great fuel economy, and they’ll, more importantly, offer a six speed manual, and even some autonomous gadgets. I might consider this for a serious daily driver whenever I have to settle down.

  • The Leviathan Maladus GTR. It looks like a sportier version of a car straight out of a spionage movie, and I think it works. But best of all, 830hp and almost 10000rpm. This guys are crazy. And I love it. AWD, active suspension, and best of all, the 830hp car gets 20MPG. That’s nuts. At only $110000 roughly, I’d consider this if you’re in the hunt for a hypercar.

  • KHT Augusta Vision GT. While I feel it’s a tad overstyled, it looks futuristic and it is futuristic in the inside as well: a 2.2L I4 turbo with 315hp, 3.3 seconds (from 0 to 62 I assume?) and a fast lap time around the Nordschleife of 7:35 minutes. Good, good…

  • AL Autos, this is going to be a sincere message; I feel you guys need to settle down with a lineup instead of constantly releasing new cars. You will not be able to develop a brand image at this rate and I, personally, don’t think that’s good.

  • If I thought the guys at Znopresk and Kasai were crazy for mounting I6s and V12s transversely…the fellas at Iuriaro mounted an 8 liter V12 transversely, the madmen. Holy shit. Looks like this one will be a luxury edition of the Zanzibar, and I’m really digging the futuristic looks.

  • PMI introduced the Puma concept. It doesn’t look too bad, if a bit too simplistic for my taste, and the rear needs some improvement to look more modern. However, seems like this is a promising sports concept with a small, turbocharged engine that prioritizes lightness. If the price is right, this might be a good platform to modify on too…only time will tell.

We’re not done, fellas! I’ll be back tomorrow with more stuff. Will see you all then, and see what the show has yet to show us!

Thanks! Yeah, time is needed. I need to learn to deal with the available fixtures to create modern looking cars. And I do want to keep this one simple and fresh. We’ll see how PMI evolves in the future.
