Zenshi at the 89th IMS

Zenshi comes to the Geneva Motor Show with a sample of it’s current lineup, from the Nimessa, to the Altrea Newman R, to the Axia, one model stood out from the crowd, looking louder from it’s group with a very recognizable colour.

Now resembling the recently redesigned Nimessa, the Newman R variant comes back, now looking more serious that how it was last presented, but still carried it’s some of it’s rowdy appearance, like a punk rocker wearing Sunday clothes.

ZMD plans on making the Newman R brothers look different from one another, with the S taking the spotlight first. The head designer of the Newman project has stated to make the M version look more mature and subtle compared to the S’s louder qualities, but both should boast a very slight difference in performance on a track.

The 2020 Nimessa Newman R, compared to it’s previous versions, will be considerably different performance wise. The IA25-GDAT 2.5L Turbocharged I6 was dropped in favour of something completely different: The AG23-GDAT.
The AG23 is an Inline-5 engine developed as a downsized variant of the TDF’s AG30 engine, in which ZMD was given the new engine as a means to see what potential it can have performance-wise, and the results were well-received by the team: 415 HP and 322 lb-ft, mated to a 6-Speed Manual transmission.

While the AG23’s stats are about as similar to the IA25’s, the weight is a lot lighter, and the turbochargers offered a lot smoother boost delivery. This resulted in a much more nimble, yet smoother Nimessa Newman R.

So, then, would you be prepared for a completely new experience within a more matured machine? This dog has learned some new tricks up it’s sleeve.

IkaMagic's 2019 Sports Range.

The first highlight of the new range is a hatchback that is said to revolutionise and invent the term “Super Hot Hatch”. They dubbed it the Neon Tetra, showing off the latest range of sports-oriented machines titled ‘Specification X’.

The Spec-X Neon Tetra is said to reach 340HP from a turbocharged 3-litre flat six engine, ensuring power whenever the user needs it to tear down the track. They plan to give the range a 6-speed Manual or Dual Clutch Transmission, giving customers choice depending on levels of driving expertise.

Patented Aero-Fin technology helps to keep the car down onto the ground yet also reduce drag from the sides while giving the car a completely menacing look that matches with the rest of the body.

Not only does the Aero Fin technology help keep the car gripped to the track like it’s made for it. Providing a top speed of 165mph, it also has the oomph that lets it keep up with some of the big boys that are also specifically designed to take the track.

Promotion of the car was also rolled out with the words “Make the track your enemy.” printed onto bracelets following the name of the hatchback. Press is expected to make big waves of this new breed of hatchback.

After the teaser image for one of their cars to be displayed at the show, the new car has been officially shown as part of promotional material for IkaMagic. Thus, they ushered in the next generation of Sailfish, a coupe model that was prominent in the 1980s as a car with sporty flair.

However, this modern Sailfish isn’t just any Sailfish like the ones in the past. This featured model is a limited-run model that they plan on only making 500 models every year until the end of the car’s life cycle. They have dubbed this the Noir, a dedicated supercar version of the Sailfish that challenges the likes of others in its similar vein. It is said to be the ultimate Sailfish variant, a sporty car that has the looks to match supercars like it.

It comes with a naturally aspirated Z-series 4.9L V12 engine that produces nearly 560HP, which would seem rather modest for a supercar in this modern age. However, what makes this engine stand out is when it comes to life. The Z-series’ special feature is the absurdly high RPM that it reaches for a fully road-legal supercar, able to reach 11000 revolutions per minute with minimal horsepower loss. People would question its engine placement for a car of its kind, but IkaMagic states that regardless of the engine being placed at the front, it would be competitive enough to hold its own against other supercars.

The engine is also said to be one of IkaMagic’s smoothest and most responsive engines yet while also retaining minimal damage to the environment. It’s a marvel how technology could be able to get this far.

The sleek and aggressive styling is also what was to be noted, the car having a carbon monocoque frame that helps reduce its weight. However, the key for IkaMagic was also to provide extreme sportiness while remaining cheap for a supercar of its calibre as well. The Noir model only comes with a 7-speed manual transmission combined with an electronically-assisted one-and-a-half-way LSD, ensuring that the handling of this car is forgiving to those that can master it. The Aero Fins and its sharp exterior is also said to provide extra downforce to hunker the car further down onto the road, ensuring even more stability for a supercar of its calibre. Featuring a top-of-the-class heads-up display system that also displays hotlap information depending on track data and also mode adjustment on the fly. Its track-focused appearance also goes down to the double wishbone suspension in the front, pushrods at the back that provide active sports springs with dampers that act upon the suspension terrain and the mode it was set onto.

IkaMagic are looking for a strong high-powered car lineup to bring themselves up into the industry with innovation with their booth area involving a hands-on experience simulation with the two cars around a track, as well as a sit-around on the interior to show off the sleek interiors as well. There was also an hourly event where the IkaMagic Sailfish Noire would get a start-up demonstration inside of an area in their booth.

Mondo Official Press Conference.
Geneva Auto Show, March 6th 2019.

Welcome to Mondo’s first overseas international appearance at the 89th Geneva Auto Show. We will only be announcing one car today, however we believe its significance to us warrants its own event. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

The Mondo 10 Line.

Since it’s inception, the Mondo 10 line has been about one concept; create the ultimate highway cruiser. Such a promise entails these aspects: exquisite luxury, sublime comfort, excellent power, and supreme high speed dynamics. We envision a car where you can relax and tend to your businesses as you hurtle down the highway at speeds most cars can’t even sustain. As such, the process to find perfection is a multi generational endeavor.

Today, for the first time in history, we reveal the next step towards cruising perfection under the international spotlight of the Geneva Auto Show.

The All New Mondo E10 Raja.
Make Way For The King.

This is that next step. In this 6th generation, the Mondo E10 has been redesigned from the ground up to incorporate the latest in technology, bringing it to the forefront of the car industry. The Mondo E10 in Raja trim is the flagship of Mondo, equipped with the finest luxury balanced with generous power.

Opulence.

The first step of a luxury cruiser is unrivaled interior excellence. As such, the Mondo E10 Raja provides it in spades, and then improves upon it through technology. Sitting in the Mondo E10 Raja is an experience in itself, as intelligent ergonomics algorithms analyze your seating position and detects your dimensions, and then determines the best seating adjustment. Once settled in you may notice the extensive interior detailing. Panels are embossed with a subtle Parang type batik pattern, symbolizing power and prestige. Handles and other small trim items are wrapped in high quality Rattan, a durable plant based material traditionally woven by craftsmen. Mood lighting is comprised of infinitely adjustable LED strips and dots embedded in the trim, the panoramic sunroof, and seats. Said panoramic sunroof is also equipped with adjustable opacity, filtering out any harsh sunlight and heat. Along with 4 zone climate control, the cabin is kept at optimal temperature at all times. Further amenities include heated and cooled seats, massage functions, temperature controlled storage bins, integrated wireless charging, and a full compliment of premium Carman Hardon speakers.

Connectivity.

Moving forward, the definition of luxury expands to not only mean comprehensive grace, comfort, and high quality, but also connectivity. Staying up to speed and updated is quickly becoming a modern day necessity.

As such, the Mondo E10 Raja SerbaConn+ infotainment system is essentially a smartphone on wheels. The dashboard is now a fully interactive surface, thanks to the advent of curved OLED screen technology (Yes I’m sorry if this sounds familiar Yang but I swear I’ve thought of this independently years ago). Input is done through touch, gestures, or voice dictation. Important information such as vehicle information, collision avoidance, traffic information, and directions can be projected onto the windshield to maximize road attention. In addition to car information, SerbaConn+ is fully internet capable and is equipped with smartphone mirroring, enabling you to access emails, news, maps, and other media directly through the comfortably large back seat interface of the Mondo E10 Raja.

Operating such technology is SerbaConn AI, our latest and greatest vehicle operating software. It handles all your preferences and coordinates it according to your needs. SerbaConn AI also handles inputs into the infotainment system. With it, gone are the days of clunky commands, faulty speech recognition, and slow response. SerbaConn AI understands everyday conversation, meaning inputting a command through SerbaConn AI is as easy as having a chat with your acquaintances. It is no longer just another way to interact with your vehicle. It is your new travel companion, assistant, and is actually a good friend to have around.

Performance.

Despite all the features and conveniences packaged with the Mondo E10 Raja, it is not without driving competence. Such is the nature of the perfect highway cruiser, therefore we will not settle for less. The heart of the Raja is the Z57 engine, a turbocharged 5.7 liter V12 tuned to produce 465 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque. Coupled with an all-aluminum construction, reducing the total weight of the Mondo E10 Raja by over 100 kg, and aerodynamic drag reduction engineering, this means a 0-100 km/h time of 5.3 seconds, a top speed nearing 300 km/h, and a comfortable cruising speed in excess of 280 km/h. Despite the performance, the Mondo E10 Raja still achieves a more than respectable combined fuel economy rating of 7.4 L/100km.

Such speeds cannot be sustained safely without supreme high speed handling dynamics. As such, we have paid careful attention to bringing the power of the Z57 engine to the wheels. SerbaDrive AWD keeps the power and control constantly applied to the ground, and the advanced ActiveHydro suspension has been tuned to strike a balance between comfort and handling superiority. As a result, the Mondo E10 Raja has grip levels exceeding 1.00g.

Design.

A staple of Mondo since the beginning has always been carefully crafted design. Each car has been molded into the form it is destined to take, creating a perfect synergy between form and function. The Mondo E10 Raja continues this tradition of excellence.

The large front grille of the Mondo E10 Raja allows plenty of breathing space for the large Z57 engine, while simultaneously exuding the presence it deserves. In times when such cooling is not required, the grille is equipped with intelligent flaps that close to improve aerodynamics, resulting in even better economy. As per Mondo design, the grille is split down the middle by the Mondo Wrench logo to signify its hierarchy on the vehicle.

The GarudaWing lights, a signature of Mondo. Its stacked configuration and bending shape is intended to depict the wings of the Garuda bird. For the Mondo E10 Raja, the GarudaWing lights have been upgraded with BirdsEyes technology, adaptive laser lights that automatically adjust direction and brightness according to conditions. Working with radar technology, BirdsEyes can also intelligently distinguish potential unseen dangers and highlight them on the road.

The direction line, another Mondo design staple. It is intended to depict a guiding hand pushing the vehicle forward, signifying speed and confidence. The Mondo E10 Raja takes the direction line into the modern era by infusing it with technology. It is now also an active sensor system, alerting you of potential harm from the sides and rear. Also integrated into the direction line are the smart door handles, with a flush aerodynamic design and fingerprint detection entry.

The rear fascia has also been designed to bring about an air of presence. The stacked tail lights point towards the center, where the Mondo E10 name is enshrined in chrome. The elegant lines of the lower bumper trail from rear brake ducts that function to keep the brakes cool, and direct the extracted air carefully as to not impact the Mondo E10’s aerodynamics. The liftback configuration, while providing excellent practicality, also provides superior aerodynamic characteristics as opposed to a traditional saloon layout, as well as bestowing upon the Mondo E10 an elegant, flowing silhouette.

The all new Fuji Imperator

EMPHASIZING EMOTION

The Imperator was designed, like its predecessor, to make you feel. Cornering is its target, and everything else is a bonus - so, although there is a four hundred horsepower engine, it’s not a big V8 - it’s a six cylinder behind the front axle. The Imperator isn’t all wheel drive - it still goes from zero to sixty in just four seconds. And, then, once you’re at sixty, it can stop in just one hundred feet.

KEEPING THE CORE VALUES

Although it has been 20 years since the last Imperator was sold, the same core values apply - good power, light weight, and great handling. Even though the new model has a wheelbase that’s 10 inches longer and modern safety features, it still weighs less than the original Imperator thanks to the use of carbon fiber body panels. So, with its near 50/50 weight distribution, the Imperator can pull 1.3G on a skid pad, and look good while doing it.

UPSCALE PERFORMANCE

And even though it weighs just 2800 lbs, the Imperator features a full premium interior with comfortable but secure bucket seats, an advanced entertainment system, electronic stability control, launch control, a dual clutch transmission, and incredible safety features. The Imperator scores a top safety rating for its class, and can even get up to 28 miles per gallon, making it supremely driveable.

YOU’LL BE ABLE TO PICK UP A NEW IMPERATOR MAY 15TH
V6 pricing starting at $82,500 for GTS RWD DCT
I4 pricing starting at $62,750 for STS RWD 7MT

The new Baltazar Sapienza EV

Following the trends in the auto industry and the need to seek a more sustainable future, Baltazar Automóveis is introducing its first electric vehicle, the Sapienza. It brings all the typical Baltazar qualities of strong engineering, with good comfort and fun to drive behaviours, in an affordable package.

To achieve this, the Baltazar group developed an entirely new platform, dubbed EVP-1, to be used in all new Baltazar and Bonham electric models. The platform, made from 3rd gen advanced high strength steel, comprises the entire underfloor of the car, with the battery cells sitting between the axles, as part of the floor structure, helping with crash resistance and torsional rigidity. The front and rear structures, including key crash structures will be shared between all models, which will help streamline development of future models and allowing the company to focus on ever-greater features for the customers. The platform will allow both RWD and AWD propulsion, with a base electric motor on the rear axle being complemented by up to two electric motors on the front axle. The rear suspension package is comprised of a multilink set-up, with the motor nestled between the wheels, and will be used by all models underpinned by this platform. The front suspension is a double wishbone format and is designed to house one or two electric motors, depending on the model.

On this first Sapienza model, from launch only the RWD model will be available, in two models, both with a single rear motor and RWD. 60 models get a 60 kWh battery and 95 models get a 95 kWh battery, good for 350 and 520 km of range, respectively. Both models feature a brushless AC motor, with an output of 160 kW (215 hp), allowing the 1650 kg Sapienza 95 to go from 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. Top speed is limited to 180 km/h. Future cars with more powerful drivetrains and sportier set-ups will be available during the model cycle.

Inside, the car features a new interior concept to Baltazar, with new sustainable upholsteries, with seats and padded areas available in cloth, supersuede or wool. All models get the new generation of in-car infotainment, featuring a 10.1" drivers display and a 12" central display, with the new Baltazar assistant, capable of controlling car functions and even certain queries, such as weather, traffic, estimated arrival time and estimated remaining battery range at arrival, through speech alone.

The new Sapienza will cost from just $32,000, in the USA, and €39,700, in Germany, for the base 60 model. 95 models will cost an extra $5,000/€5,500. Sales in Europe and the USA will start in September, whereas Chinese dealerships will start getting the model in October. Global production of the car will be concentrated in Baltazar’s Hangzou factory, in China.

Scagliati at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show. Day Two.

Introducing the Scagliati La Tempesta - The Ultimate Expression of Speed.

Scagliati La Tempesta, in Plutonio

Scagliati is proud to present our most exclusive and refined automobile to date, La Tempesta. Like the towering storm from which it derives its name, La Tempesta shakes the earth with its thunderous engine, the ultimate version of Scagliati’s Amadeo V12. Generating over sixteen hundred horsepower, La Tempesta sacrifices everything in the pursuit of speed, with La Tempesta sprinting from a standstill to 300 kilometres per hour in less than ten seconds, and on to a top speed of over 480 kilometres per hour.

The interior has undergone an extensive rework over the Il Dominante upon which it is based, with extensive use of lightweight materials, and a set of fixed carbon-fibre seats for both pilot and passenger; driving position is instead adjusted by a moveable steering column and pedal box. Elsewhere in the interior, only the comforts deemed absolutely essential to the enjoyment of the car remain; everything else has been stripped away in the pursuit of light weight.

Outside, the bodywork has been carefully sculpted in the wind tunnel for the lowest drag possible, with every aspect of the car being scrutinised in the finest detail. Cooling for the powertrain has been optimised to the finest degree, and the rear bodywork has been completely reworked with a longer, lower tail and a more efficient, low-drag rear wing. The engine air intake is now a flush duct on the carbon-fibre rear deck of the car, the enormous air requirement of the engine helping to keep the airflow over the car closer to the body, and reducing the drag-inducing turbulent zone behind the car. A series of holes in the rear decking help evacuate heat when the car is standing still, and also help to reduce the turbulent wake over the rear body sections, helping increase the effectiveness of the wing.

La Tempesta will be one of the most exclusive cars Scagliati has ever made, with a total production run of 74 units only, all of them being offered to our most valued clients selected from a very strongly attended selection process. Every selectee was flown to the Scagliati factory in Mirano, where they spent two days touring the production lines, taking in the history of our marque as well as customising their car, all while enjoying the finest in accomodations and cuisine. La Tempesta will be an expression of each selectee’s own tastes and desires; no two La Tempestas will be the same. While all units have been sold, the asking price for La Tempesta was $1.14 million, with colour options and interior customisations extra.

The MS also has it’s rear end a bit chopped off the make it a bit shorter and making it into a midsized sedan. Like everything that comes out from our headquarters, the car has double wishbone and multi-link setup, and equipped with hydropneumatic suspension as standard.
Big brakes are equipped on the car to make sure the car will stop on time at a dime at high speeds. Other standard feature is the car will only available as AWD. We still consider that the MS is still unfinished but the Geneva Motor Show sure gives a chance for us to introduce the MS to the world. Due to some reasons, the FS35 will soon be discontinued which will be replaced by the MS40, the 4.0 litre Boxer 6 Twin Turbo equipped MS. The MS40 is more affordable, and is also more comfortable than the FS35 which will be the ideal replacement for it. The car will be on sale at May 9 2019.

Anueis FS

The 60 Lusso trim of the Anueis FS will have the “W1D60T” engine replaced with the new “W2D60T” engine which has smaller block but is more fuel efficient and produces 650hp and 1015Nm of torque. This Anueis FS is considered as a new generation since this one has most of it’s components revised, including the stiffer and lighter chassis which shaves 300kg on it’s total weight.
The interior is also changed drastically. Everything was redesigned while maintain-ing it’s minimalist design combined with futurism and trimmed with hand rubbed wood and we also offer the interior to be trimmed with polished marble rock. The seats in the car is also redesigned. The new seats are heated and ventilated 23-way power seats with Balinese traditional massage function. The FS will have ATMOS system as standard with 23-speakers with 2100W, 19-channels which gives 3D sound that puts you on center of the action. The new system gives an even more clearer sound, powerful bass, and natural & lifelike sound.
The current FS has ambient light like colorful ambient light on other luxury cars. This time, we removed that feature and replaced it with our new ambient light which now gives warm glow like the Japanese andon lantern.

Murasaki Surprise Public Reveal

Over the past few days, our social media were flooded with hastag #mysterycar, all related to the car covered in black silk cover that’s standing in rear of our booth.
Some were saying it is going to be some upgraded model of Akari, some were saying we have covered a fake cardboard to attarct attention, and some were implying brand new concept.
The third was partly right, apart from the fact that it is not concept, only a limited production vehicle.

Presenting you, the 2020 Hekaram Ascent

You already heard mentions of Ascent technology, here and there, saw the logo a few times as well, and today, we bring you the first car to fully use our revolutionary technology.
First, how does Ascent work?

  • That’s pretty simple. Ascent begins with economical internal combustion engine, this engine is small, light, and balanced, and with rest of the E-Gen unit acts as generator of power.
Power for what? Power for four high-end electric motors that drive the car.

  • Due to the direct interaction between E-gen and E-drive, there is no need for big batteries that would weight the car down, and only four batteries that act as buffers are thus installed in the vehicle. This allows us to improve Safety and Weight of the car by large amounts

Okay, what can we expect from Hekaram?

  • As for numbers, the Hekaram is expected to be one of first next-generation hypercars, with power of 1400Kw and torque of 1974 Nm.
However, thanks to its Ascent system, the combined fuel economy of Hekaram is 4.4L/100Km, and when not speeding it around the track, it is expected to consume around two litres for each one hundred kilometers. This solves both range and refueling problems, and provides the needed compromise between Electric and ICE cars.
Hekaram accelerates to 100Km/h in as little as 2.1s and it’s top speed is 397 Km/H

What about the visual side of the car?

  • As for outside of the car, we were inspired by the flowing wind, as well as elecric wires that are essential to the car’s operation, along with that, we tried to keep the car as clean and aerodynamic as possible.

  • The real beauty, however, is inside.
Some of you might recognise the shaping is similar to Akari’s, the two-piece touchscreen with integrated manual buttons and controls, the basic shape of the interior, and many more.
That all is true, but we went further, and brought some of the windflow styling even inside, this time, made of led system that runs through the interior. This led system not only looks eye-pleasing when the car is stopped (It switches itself off once you start driving, to not distract the driver), but also is capable of informing driver of various things, as need of refuel, or problems with the car, although we do not expect many thanks to simplicity of Ascent system.
As for seats, they are fully electroncially controllable (even their stiffness) and are made of leather and high-quality textile, proving ultimate response and comfort during driving.

We have currently fifteen Hekarams available, and another thirty-five will be made for the next year. The price is firmly set at $650000 / €574810 / ¥72600000

Man I came just in time to post the New Car.

#132

I was cutting it a bit close myself, had to rework my car a bit due to Automation crashing a lot after the latest updates and mods not working.

Say, wasn’t there supposed to be a magazine covering up the Geneva Motor Show and what is in all the booths?
