Aha! I remember seeing that at the auto show. Feels like ages ago!
Haha thx
I found them and thought that it would be nice to share them also here
Time for new model!
MY2017 Airborne Mimas (Standard/Eco)
Some months ago we presented almost production ready concept Mimas for public. Surprisingly enough, mostly poor students/young people who were searching for their first car were mostly interested in production plans, however argued about some questions. When we prepared full-ready production version we listened to them and created practically new Mimas (concept was well, bit too extreme). These versions, especially Eco, were prepared as cheap commuters for poor people, those who don’t need very much stuff (just car to drive) and possibly most universal one.
One of achievements with Mimas is fact that it reached lowest mileage ever recorded on Airborne’s production car. Also, it’s achievable - hence our fuel mileage testing program tests this value on real roads, in real life, in real traffic.
The car will cost 13.995 $ in Eco variant and 16.140 $ in Standard version (both without taxes and fees), however students and young/learning people who need their commuter to go to school will get 30% discount on Eco version.
2017 Airborne Mimas S
Sporty version of production car called Mimas. Still has FWD. Main differences are stiffened suspension, more power, fuckmassive wing on the rear (downforce yo), interior stripped out of two seats (prototype S had four seats, hence the weight difference, current one is below a tonne), sporty Sparco bucket seats, less entertainment equipment (reduced to basic radio with mp3 usb player) and steering wheel taken from Haiyan. Price - 18.380 $ without taxes and fees.
Let’s bring one of our historical vehicles:
1982-1987 Airborne Persephone
Named after Greek-mythology goddess of underground world and wife of Hades, Persephone was the thing that post-1973 Airborne needed since presentation of A27; reliable, fairly cheap, competitive compact. After announcing in 1982 and selling first cars it became instant hit; in first year there were 150.000 units sold.
I wpuld love an 83 coupe for the DSD museum if u r interested just pm myself cheers
Basic variant or those sportier ones?
Because I guess that getting mint Stage II for you would be like searching for unicorn.
The original basic coupe please. I figure the highend have been raced/modified. If u send 2 i will gift one to my tame racing drivers lol
if you will only publish results of how the car was treaten then okay
(personally I would read this in DSD thread xD)
Any wishes to color? Because all cars that company has to sell are Championship White, haha
Eventually we can repaint the car to other color lol
White is great lol. I will use one in the museum with a link to here and some further storyline for my staff which is in dire need of updateing. Pleasure to do business with you.
well, so the year of action is somewhere in 1980s or what? xD
I mean in your case
Nah modern times 2015 i am at so it’l be worded as i purchased a runner and a parts car and my driver and engineers will prep a modern version for the australia drifting championship
Oh, so modern drift car?
However I’m afraid that Persephones weren’t sold with Right Hand Drive…
Np il swap a mk3 supra steering rack and chop the dash. The other will stay as if it drove of the production floor. Rh/lh drive meh lol most of my employees specialize in converting american cars to r/h for private imports
Don’t forget to show results after conversion!
And I guess you won’t use 80hp I4 from 80s for drifting
It will b after the 1st i have a funneral that day so after then i will do a seperate page for company “toys” in the DSD thread. I will not let u down. And its a 1.6 i can should be able to get close to 4agze power
News from airborneautomotive.com
On main page, there’s an informatiin with Haiyan promo pic posted and headline “Haiyan is coming to an end”. Text of the article below
When we were presenting Haiyan in Q4 2014, we were proud of it and we scored 25.000 redeems for the car in the year. Sadly, sales started to slightly drop but still keeping acceptable level. Today, however we need to finish it’s route in Q1 2017 by releasing 500 last Haiyans, resulting in 17.237 cars due to lack of passing emission standards and the body isn’t strong enough to safe it’s passengers in today’s times. The demand also requires something different and we want to put our racing experience to make something more brutal but in meanwhile more all-around while keeping the same formula of the car.
Prepare for the end.
Sincerely
Mei Onashikara, Press Informator of Airborne Automotive
Okay. Since my massive performance issues on current update of Automation I’ll sit and wait patiently for UE4 update which (hopefully) will be more optimized for weaker PCs.
For now, I put this company on hold and actually when UE4 update pulls out, I plan to remake all the cars and make something more storyline based with actually told names of CEOs, The Founder and all of them and put the cars in more chronological update and maybe better made vehicles more accurate to the era this time?
Tell me what do you think, for now Kee chapter of Airborne is closed.
