Another Design Challenge [ROUND 2 - Submissions Open]

#1

Link to original thread

After winning Round 1, I have been given the pleasure to host Round 2.

To shake things up a little bit, I have a theme for people to work towards.

Early 00s Commercial Vehicles

What do I mean by Commercial Vehicles? Well, these can include:

  • Vans
  • Lorries (Semi-Trucks for Americans)
  • Fire Engines
  • Ambulances

Those are just a few examples.

Now for the actual challenge rules:

  • Model and Trim Year between 2000 and 2005.
  • Commercial Vehicle design can sometimes be several years behind passenger vehicle design, so bear that in mind when creating your submission.
  • While this is a design challenge, I will be deducting points if there is questionable engineering descisions.
  • Keep everything realistic
  • Put effort into the design. 4/5 fixture wonders will not be accepted.

Interesting challenge, but for some reason I can’t see the accepted bodies. Could you tell me which ones they are?

#4

It is likely your browser. Use google, it should work for you then.

#5

It works now, thanks

#6

Here’s my creation: the 2004 Coyota Paramedic

#7

If that is a portmanteau of Coyote and Toyota, I won’t be surprised, especially if it combines the best attributes of both.

#8

Nee Naw Intesifies

Yes, it’s a British fire truck that doesn’t say “Dennis” on the front.
The roller doors took too much effort…
It’s a dual purpose ladder truck, so it can squirt and erect at the same time!

#9

Cargo version of retrostyled combivan.

#10

REMINDER!!!

After seeing people posting submissions here, I would liek to remind people to DM me their submission’s .car file here on ther forum.

JUST POSTING A PITURE IN THE THREAD WILL NOT GET YOU ACCEPTED!

So far, only one person has a valid entry.

EDIT:

And in light of recent events, the challenge is for the stable build only!
