I didn’t do much tuning as I’m not 100% sure how to optimise for Beam. Not sure whether it was down to a good driver, a really good car, or both.

I can say that the three best times did use the same approach in tuning when it came to wheels, suspension and gears - be it accidental or not.

With the second race coming up soon, here are a few more questions:

Does this refer to a ball-bearing turbo with default settings for intercooler, compressor, and turbine sizes as well as AR ratio and boost?

I think this refers to changing the top speed setting and spacing for the transmission, but not the type (so if the stock transmission is a 5-speed manual, for example, then the tuned transmission must also be a 5-speed manual).

In this case the car’s stock entertainment system must remain in place, then?

You can modify the intercoolers, the rest must remain preset fr race 2

You can take out the transmission entirely. Only quality cannot be changed.

Welp, I forgot a comma there. No that should read: removes the radio (infotainment) and all seats but the driver’s, which is replaced by a sports seat.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to send mine in.

Due to my spending habits, and not heeding advice from my parents, my laptop has currently been confiscated, and thus do not have access to neither Steam or Automation. Unsure when I will be getting it back. Hopefully so I can do race 3.

Automation Race 2

Welcome to the second race day. The cars have been souped up significantly since the last race, although some teams for reasons unknown seem to have held back on spending their funds.

Quite a number of teams that dropped out of this race: Halton Racing, Prior Time Racing, RK Series Racing, Drunk Dragon Driving (DDD), and TAT racing have not entered for various reasons.

The first half hour certainly gives an interesting result, as the #34 Znopresk takes first place - Courageux Motorsport barely taking any points the first race. Already some distance behind it a battle between the #11 Nikata and the #112 Kuma TDi.

Last round’s winner is going at a slower pace it appears, but things do not yet look completely bleak for the #33 Dragotec. As the hour nears, the GEC Motorsports Division is getting under more pressure from the Treadkillers’ #01 Reduit.

Already starting to drop off, in what is overall turning out to be a very close race actually, are the Rhisuki Sanda Sport, the Astro Cavalet, the #71 Satsumi Kaze from Budget Racing Team (BRT), the Vior LTX, and the Epoch M10.

Half an hour before the end and the top 5 are still on the same lap, including the #34 Znopresk and the #11 Nikata. The sub-top consists out of two very close fights, one between the #33 Dragotec and the #01 Reduit; the other between the Bavarian Racing Crew #24 Znopresk and the large and boaty #02 Anhultz Dione.

BeamNG Race 2

Some big names that didn’t enter this race, including the leaders: Halton Racing, as well as Reduit Autosport, Iriguchi Performance Racing (IPR), Prior Time Racing, Drunk Dragon Driving (DDD).

As in the other class, a surprise leader at first with the #109 Mitsushita Boarilla, which was in the bottom 5 the last race. Following close is the #33 Dragotec of GEC Motorsports Division. Struggling with the car more than with the track (because when it works and doesn’t need a refuel, the times are among the best), is Stroppy McHorseguy driving the #03 Tsushima Batta.

Both of the Dragotecs, from GEC and Treadkillers on top after an hour of racing. A very close-fought battle between the two Znopresks from Chod Spot Racing and the Bavarian Racing Crew for 5th. The #03 Tsushima Batta gaining places and losing them again due to engine issues and fuel stops is still clinging on in the top 10. Neck to neck racing as well - although on the #111 Astro Cavalet is still slower - between Sphinx Racing Team (SRT) and Club O.K.! in the #02 Earl Vista and the #14 Rhisuki Sanda Sport.

Not too much change to report towards the end. The cars relatively close, with only 5 laps between first and last - one of the Dragotecs right on the tail of the last car (which is one of the three mentioned above) about to lap it a fifth time.
