Body shape bugged

Here I was beginning to make a 2003 SUV but while selecting the trim body, this happened:

FYI, it’s the '03 with a 2.6m wheelbase. It gets fixed when I fiddle around with morphing, but still, very annoying.

Is this a bug? Does it happen to everyone?

Yes, it happens to me with various bodies. It happens every time with SUV bodies and the 02’ hatch body, and occasionally with everything else.
