Toyota/Scion is far from the only one that does that, some are more disguised than others but you can see it’s fundamentally similar.

I feel like if people collab then submit different versions of the car, as long as it is all transparent and agreed by both should be fine (my opinion only)

There is a solution for most problems as long there is a proper communication with the host BEFORE submission.
