To me , Dimension is more like a Japan automaker instead of U.S

Yeah, I agree, American ones would never take the risk of making SSP versions, and would also have been hit by several recalls and hacking scams

I only make a lot of SSP versions because they’re my favorite things to build. Turning something so basic into an actually desirable performance machine. Isn’t that where most legendary automotive names are made? M, AMG, STi, Evolution, GT-R, SRT, SS…

Really like what you’ve managed to do with that body. Also:

##1965 Dimension Comanche 6 Cyl

Ah yes the 1960s, the era of the Boomers, full of beautiful pony and muscle cars any high schooler not drafted to fight unjust wars can afford. The ideal american dream, work hard, buy a good looking pony car and drive wasted with your high school sweetheart to the sunset before the gloomy, depressing, sad 70s kick in, you’re a massive alcoholic, your wife left you and took the kid and you lost your job. The Dimension Comanche is the embodiment of that era, a car that looked fast and sporty but could be outrun by a station wagon on the highway.

##1966 Dimension Comanche Sport290

With the 410 Big Block motor from the Paradox sports car, extensive use of our recently built wind tunnel for aerodynamics testing, the 410 Comanche is Trans Am ready from the showroom floor. Fetches way too much money in auctions where the poor cars are made garage queens for owners looking to make a quick buck.

I really like the clean look of the six. Those extra vents on the V8 models are just a bit much for me, but I assume they are needed? No matter, I’ll just swap a V8 into the base model. It’ll be fiiiinneee, trust me.

##1985 Dimension Paradox 3 5.4 (CGA52)

The 1980s will forever be remembered as the decade where everyone unironically thought pastel suits and handlebar mustaches were cool, but also as the time when cars got their cajones back after being castrated in the horrible 70s. The Paradox 3 is the embodiment of that spirit, an attempt to regain the speed of it’s 60’s counterpart while being several times tackier with wireframe digital gauges and headlamps that do a little dance when opening.

##1990 Dimension Paradox 4 (CGR52)

So much has changed underneath and outside that we decided to call it an entirely new generation of the Paradox sports car. Unfortunately, some genius decided that we should move it upmarket and have it compete with exotics and supercars by making the uber expensive high performance model the only model. You can tell how that worked out because this killed the model line until '05.

Not a bad car by any means though. The DOHC 5 valve head was designed from ground up, extensive aerodynamics work to ensure the car had zero lift at high speeds made it one of the first production cars to break the 8 minute mark on the famed Nurburgring course.

Wait what? You mean single throttle?

Yeah, don’t know too much bout fueling tbh…

What do you think of the car?

Nice one. I love the looks of the '85 one. But they look like the generations were switched - as if the 3rd gen was from '90 and the 4th gen was from '85  But that’s not much of a problem, as I have a similar impression with some real life cars  The stats and prices look good too.

##1996 Dimension UltraNova GT-1 Road Car

Like every cool kid in the 90s, Dimension decided to enter the GT1 series with an obvious prototype masquerading as a “road” car. With it’s carbon chassis and ultra lightweight V12 motor that would go on to be used in the Entropy hypercar 20 years later, it proved itself a highly competent racecar, if not a long lasting one, as the cars constantly failed to finish due to transmission problems, after gaining pole positions. The road car is the only one in existence, and is ironically not road legal in the United States despite being built at home.

Ah, few things are quite as nice as a 90s GT1 racer. UltraNova looks gorgeous, especially the headlights.

And I must say, the stats are very impressive, especially that drivability score, considering how powerful the car is.

I’d be really interested to see this compete against my own GT1 racer, the GT95. We both seem to have taken similar approaches but ended up with rather different vehicles.

Ok, now tell me, where can I give you the second like?

Seriously, great looking with great stats, impressive performance and a cool name

Well this one’s a road car  I made this with minimal quality sliders as to give the impression of a quick homoglation effort.

Yeah I was surprised by the drivability score too, even more so that it was achieved with no power steering or traction control. Pretty low sportiness however.

A road car you say? I’ll take your word for it  It’s good that you achieved such scores with little use of quality sliders too. I tend to go pretty wild I’m building a race car.

Sportiness isn’t too low to be honest, just not as high as it perhaps could be. Some more specific tuning would likely deal with that.

Not to diss your car but that kind of drivability and sportiness is realistic and easily achieved in these kinds of cars - but the low weight! With a real interior and safety at 1066kg is a pretty impressive level to sit at.

I may be impressed because of something coming soon from my works!

Well I built the thing in like 50 minutes  Remembered the Sard MC8R, thought hey, I have an MR-2 rip-off, let’s make a GT1 racer based on it.

No power steering and a high stroke engine. Motor only weighs 190 kg which is not really easy to do with a V12. Made it that way because the Entropy also used a high stroke V12 (because it’s the only way a V12 can fit in that body smh)

The Ultranova is an awesome hypercar! That’s all I have (or need to) say about it.

A reboot of my very first car, which you can find at the first post.

The perennial answer to the question of I’ve saved up some money and now want a nice car. There are many fancier ones for around the same price, and most with actual interiors too, but you’d be hard pressed to find any faster.
