Dimension Motors - Back in Business!

Ah, ok… I associated Dimension with all 6-cylinders being inline. BTW, it’s a quite radical change - from V6s and V8s to I6s and V12s (yes, I remember about the bankruptcy).

And what about the capacity?

That body kit on the Skinwalker version… :+1:

2018 SSP Nine-50 (AMO77) 九白五十 - reboot

The ultimate road car, as envisioned by Dimension. While the Entropy was an exercise in absolute speed and technology, the 9-Fifty represented the ideal sports car as envisioned by our engineers. Being built on the Hypero platform and sharing a good deal of parts allows us to significantly engineering costs.

Capable of slaughtering virtually any car on the road and track in incredible comfort and style, the 9-Fifty is the absolute finest GT car ever built.

Just 950 examples will be built at $340,000 a piece.

I’m remaking the gen IV Rift from last April to update it with the new scoring, new styling tricks, and since the original didn’t get any attention whatsoever.

##2010 Dimension Rift SSP Turbo 4WD

If the base Rift is Bob from Accounting who clocks in at 8, comes back to his loveless home at 5 and doesn’t have a social life outside of raising his two kids, then consider the SSP model Bob who just got hooked into Crossfit and the local town marathon. Some traces of his old bland self around, but boy is he fast and obnoxious.

So, this is the car that competes with the 2009 Knight. You’ve undercut my prices a bit, but otherwise, they’re nice cars. Not sure how competitive they are off the top of my head, but they’re probably reasonably close. I’ll admit, I like the two cars.

There is just something engagingly sporty about your designs. I also highly regard your engineering department to come up with a DOHC drivetrain that sports not just 5 but 6 valves per cylinder!

EDIT: Nevermind, turns out someone just left 8 valves from the six cylinder version under the bonnet

Is it FWD?
Anyway, it looks really good

Not unheard of

The only Inline 3 that can pride itself of having more valves than the usual Inline 4! Taore needs that technology.

6 valves per cylinder plus twin-charging could be fun… Dammit, now I want 6 valve DOHC to be a thing in game.

I’ve got to say, that’s a real marked improvement in the design. I like how you’ve toned the chrome down a bit, plus that rear bumper design is incredibly original. I’m a sucker for 2.0l Twin Cam i4’s and this one looks neat, shame its mated to an auto box though, I assume manual transmission was an option on the ST?

As for the SSP trim, well… 370 hp going to all four wheels on a car that weighs just a smidgen over 1.5 tons? Yes please.

One question though, why did the Rift become a hatchback when the Gen V was released? I’d have thought the American market would have preferred the sedan-style body.

Of course, a 6 speed manual is standard on all Dimension models except the Symmetry and Axino. 7 speed manuals are available as standard equipment only on sporting models.

Dimension plans to market the car as a crossover replacement since it is rather big for a hatchback, as well as to create uniformity with export models.

##2009 Dimension Boson GT (ZMP42)

Sound:

Fresh off the bail out, image is everything. So what better way to spend government money than building a supercar? Truth be told it has been in the works since 2005 for a 100th anniversary release, but better late than never. Powered by a 7 liter suprcharged V8, this car competes against the Assoluto Fatalita, KHT Sepang and Rennen Kusanagi for market superiority. Even comes with butterfly doors.

That thing looks properly awesome - but how did you emulate the characteristics of a supercharger even though that form of forced induction is not even in the game yet? Anyway, I can’t think of a better way to show the world that you are, indeed, recession-proof.

I wanted to know that too, I got curious.

(I’ve being listening at the start of the sound, until the gear shift, for 5min now.)
