Felman pack (Cosworth-like)

In collaboration with Wizzy, we are going to release a Cosworth pack. Wizzy will do many of the peripherals, while I will do the car models. Currently, the plans are to release a 3/5 door hatchback, an estate, and a convertible. The car model is mostly based on Ford Escort mk V and Golf mk III/Vento.

You guys, just thank you so much

Would it be possible to get a hatchback version of this? Or rather a notchback like this?

I have fond memories of my 97 jetta/vento I can’t wait to recreate it! And if you two wizards are able to make a cosworth wing likr on the sierra and escort I might be ready to name my firstborn after you.

Well we are definetly looking into making them nicely morphable, so yes! Maybe a vento/jetta and the car Leo posted are possible!

what is that? It looks like a VW Golf got a Ford Escort into trouble and this was the offspring.

Loving the work so far BTW

I once had a mk VI Escort. Lovely car. :stuck_out_tongue: Too bad the compact saloon market more or less died in Europe.

That is a VW Pointer. It is a brazilian only car, made by VW on the early 90s. On that era, Ford and VW were united on south america, so they badge engineered various cars, that might be why you are getting some Ford on that design.

Yes! I just love hatchbacks and that shape for 90s cars

Yep now I know it’s name I looked it up, according to the info I found it is based on the MK5 Escort, you can see it especially on the doors. Being European I find the South American Market very interesting, with lots of oddballs like the Argentinian VW1500 started life as the British Hillman Avenger.

Here’s how the Ventoscort looks so far.

I am pumped!

great!

Very intresting car choice and body family expectation.
Again, thank you very much for the great work you are doing to the community! :astonished:

Hyped for this car!
I guess the famous wing cannot be made in Automation though? :stuck_out_tongue:

Can’t wait to throw some turbo AWD into that shell.

Awesome! I’d love to see something similar to the '76 Cosworth Vega. Just a thought.

Unfortunately, the wing cannot be made, due to the fact that it’s impossible to make wings that overlap windows.

could the wing possibly be made in two parts to solve the problem?
Or perhaps you could not have a rear window, and use that sunroof someone made for a rear window instead

You could also have a variant with a built in wing and all the cd and downforce values changed accordlingly. Its inclination would not be adjustable then obviously, but it would be worth it.

EDIT.: And similar sort of stuff does occur on one of currently-beta official model - a body, which is not based on Datsun 240Z at all, has one version with the iconic headlight insets, and one without them.

Perhaps Felgen could do that, and then wizzy could make a very small lip style wing that is designed to go on the end of the actual wing of the car so the aero is adjustable

Two finished models (in teal and burgundy, since this is the 1990s):

An estate and a convertible will be ready soon as well.

wow so excited for these to be ready to play!
