Submission 1: The Mormon Meteor III
This started life as a Duesenberg. Jay Leno’s Garage and MyClassicCarTV have done features on this car that are available on Youtube if anyone’s curious. 750 hp Aero engine. This car set speed records that still stand today. Rawr!
Submission 2: A/C / Shelby 289 Cobra
While the 427 S/C was teenage spank bank fodder, the adult me prefers the more elegant 289. The 289 cars had more success at the race track, too.

That Lister/Ford would be the most gut-wrenching vote for me; the Lister is literally a car that was born at the same time as me, but the SHO is such a wonderful sleeper…
I say “would be”, if it weren’t for that Carlton/Charade vote! Of course I can’t vote for my own entry either way… But still, the Carlton? The Testarossa-killing, rozzers-triggering Carlton!?
Poor Daihatsu, you are a David amongst Goliaths. But not even your tiny slingshot can fell this Goliath…
