Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost.

That means your GPU just stopped responding, so I assume your graphics driver crashed for whatever reason. Is this a repeatable issue? If so, please upload the .car file here so that we can check if there is anything specific going on with the car. We can’t use mods though unless it is a specific single one.

Let’s find out. Which video/graphics card are you running in your machine?

#4

It’s not a specific car, it is happening with any car i made, I can build a new one, once saved, it freezes when reopened.

I have an Intel HD Graphics 4400 running in an Lenovo Thinkpad t440something with an i7 4600 and set to highest performance etc etc, so it should be sufficient enough.

You should check that thorough the System Requirements website just to be sure, but according to the following forum entry on this subject it doesn’t run as well on integrated graphics though.

Otherwise, you can try updating its drivers just to make sure.

Don’t ask me how, but it’s working again… thanks for helping!

Meh, it’s running more or less, but i find it strange that it functioned well before both on my old machine and certainly on this one, nothing changed and suddenly i’m experiencing problems. I know the symptoms might be quite vague but I honoustly can’t believe it’s my machine. Are the other people experiencing this problem?
