I’ve never heard of ‘Carrier’, but in the UK, we have a shop called ‘Boots’, and until I was about 7 I thought they were the same as Ford.

That’s what Enry hoped after he realised that “Seishido” sounds awfully similar to “Shisedo” :joy:

@DeusExMackia Carrier is an air-conditioning contractor, I have one of their units in my room LOL.

@Rk38 That car reminds me of the 240Z that featured in the live action version of Wangan Midnight, especially with the underpass background you’ve used. And the crazy tuning potential and sheer danger associated with the car.

Perhaps all automation brands secretly have skincare backgrounds

I’m glad someone noticed that was kind of the idea I was going with making that image. I may have been listening to the soundtrack from Wangan Midnight while making that tuner version trying to capture the dangerous power possible in tuning older classics like this.

I call shotgun on “bitumen exfoliant”, for when you want a good road rash scrubbing :joy:

Okay so all the errors are fixed thanks to @phale. I’ve revised the prices and stats of the Xz trim sedan and now I can go forth with the hatch and coupe versions

Not really a hatch guy myself, but I’d drive one.

I can concur; I have known the Prova for a few months, but it looks better than ever - and still very reminiscent of the current Mazda 3!

I see that sneaky wing on the STZ trim.

Evan (titleguy) was right, this is literally a Mazda. Well played, Maesima Mazda.

Better than Mazda. Every engine revs past 8500RPM

Or more accurately, “Like Mazda, if they still made rotary engines, and they were actually super efficient” :+1:

I like the Prova! However, it looks like mashup of BMW 1-series (which is hard to avoid with this body sadly) and Mazda 3
Still, good job!

@ramthecowy This doesn’t look like anything to me.

@rcracer11m wait till you see the ST-R trim

@Oskiinus Yeah, it a shame we don’t have that many other hatch body styles. Otherwise, the roof and side sculpting would look quite different.

Introducing the 2016 Maesima Prova Coupe Range

The Prova coupe brings the critically acclaimed design of the sedan and hatch in an even sportier pack full of emotional appeal. This truly a machine made for driving with lively and enjoyable performance.

Built on a front-wheel-drive unibody frame, Prove coupe utilises the same platform as the sedan and hatch, with an independent front suspension with MacPherson struts and stabiliser bar and an independent double wishbone rear suspension with struts and coil springs.

This combination helps provide the optimal balance of handling and comfort. An engine-speed-sensitive, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system adds the finishing touch for precise handling to help provide the most advantageous amount of assist for varying road conditions.

The ST-Z trim also comes with a sport-tuned suspension providing for a firmer ride with reduced body roll and improved handling. It is produced across the globe in a number of facilities in Thailand, Mexico and in Anikatia at our facilities in Namju. Each and every one of our facilities achieve only the highest in quality craftsmanship before they are exported to all markets.

The sporty and aggressive design of the Prova coupe takes our new Vitality Motion design language to the next level with its unmatched style that is meant to evoke an emotional driving experience. It features our signature Vitalic Flow Grill, blended to a low slung sports body.

The Prova coupe comes in three exciting trim levels, three powertrain options are offered with a standard 2.0L in-line 4 cylinder 16 valve DOHC petrol MC-AP19 engine producing 131 Kw (176 hp) and 198 Nm (146 ft lbs). and a higher performance top-spec 2.0L in-line 4 cylinder 16 valve DOHC petrol MC-AP19P engine producing 141 Kw (189 hp) and 203 Nm (150 ft lbs).

The coupe somehow look more aggressive , 10/10 !

Great to see the Prova range finally complete. Prova Hatch is noticeably cheaper than the Erin Merna and appears to be equal on the stats. Same goes for the Coupe, has the potential to be a real enthusiast’s car. And what a smart looking range of vehicles this is!

@Yamahafazer600 Yep, the coupe has unique styling tweaks over the hatch and sedan. Primarily in the reshaped lights and front fascia.

@DeusExMackia Not quite complete, we’ve saved the best for last. The real enthusiast’s choice the ST-R trims

Canne wait for those! One thing I’ve also noticed (having naturally gone through every trim level of the Merna to compare each and every possible detail to work out how to be better  ) is that the Prova is a fair amount less efficient but much more powerful at equivalent trim levels. Perhaps that just because I’m a bit of an eco maniac, but is there any reason you went for that?

Very interested to see the ST-R trims of the Prova, myself.

You’d need to outsource your performance models so your conscience is clear of having to hurt the environment.

But performance cars can be eco cars too right?
