Is there some procedure for mass photography (taking pictures of a bunch of cars at the same angle) nicely cropped without the UI? I know you can switch the background art off and there are some shot presets, but the white background is fussy to change colour (because some parts of the car may also be white) and trimming out the UI precisely and consistently seems laborious. Or is there no way to streamline this process?
When you’re using the ToggleBuildings() command to turn off the background, instead of taking your screenshot either with Steam or from the Overview page, switch to something like the transmission or tires pages, click the little arrow to hide the graphs and data, then use the in-game screenshot tool to take pictures of the car.
They’ll be saved in a .png format with a transparent background. Then it’s just a matter of having an image editor that respects the transparency and putting your car into the background you want.
