New Body style Suggestions

I like working with smaller cars, but noticed the lack of Kei-sized cars. Here are some I would like to add to the game:
2010s Kei Car FF Wagon (Toyota Pixis)

2010s Kei MR Sports Car (Honda S660)

1980s Kei MR Sports Car (Autozam AZ-1)

1990s Kei FR Sports Car (Suzuki Cappucchino)

1990s Kei Car FF Hatchback (1990 Suzuki Cervo)

1960s Kei RR Van (Subaru 360 Van)

What I want to see is a Bugatti Veyron/Audi R8/Honda NSX style supercar. I don’t really like the Mclaren style ones they have currently. It’s not that they are bad, it is just that I am a bit bored of them now.

Just some ideas, Ford Model A, Ferrari 288/308/328, Alfa Romeo GTV6, AC Ace.

In general I’d love to see more modern cars. Everything I see being built is pre-2000s, and while I understand the attraction, aside from the Mustang/Camaro style coupe/shooting brake there hasn’t been much lately and I’ve kinda started to lose interest personally.

Honestly, we need more modern cars, and we need more pre-60’s cars. Those are the two sides that are sorely lacking in things to build with. Something that could be done would be to make more variants in the older cars (giving us coupes, sedans, wagons, trucks, etc.) while making more modern cars for the current era.

My next car will be available from 1946. While the Porsche 356 was introduced in 1948, similar streamlined sports cars (eg. the Cisitalia or the Ferrari 166) were available before that. Next car after that again will be a VW Beetle / Citroen 2CV mashup.

I agree that we need more 2010’s cars; these actually look somewhat different (boxier, sharper lines, less triangular features, less smooth, less streamlined etc.) from 2000’s cars.

kei cars are almost nonexistent ingame.
car which can’t even fit >1.5l engines

I think what we really need right now is modern-day body styles. We have a bunch of great classic ones, now’s the time for new stuff. Coupes/suprcars in particular, we only have one of each. :stuck_out_tongue:

Zonda/Ferrari/Lamborghini Mid engined modern cars. I want 2000-2015 style mid engine supercar bodies. I’ve done so much with the mclaren styles…
;-;
Really I just want something more unique to come out.

I think that there is a massive void for pick-ups from the 80’s to the late 00’s. It would be a great addition to the game, especially when the devs release the supercharger update which I think they’re going to re-think for the unreal engine

I’m considering making a cross between a 1994 Dodge Ram and 1998 Ford Super Duty that unlocks in 1995. No idea when I might do that, but if I do, it would come as a simple cab-long bed, extended cab-medium bed, and crew cab-short bed (to keep the same wheelbase for all). Maybe even have an SUV version, but I’m undecided on that so far.

Partario has mentioned that he might make a pickup version of his 1990s SUV, so there’s that possibility too.

i would like to see more city cars like the honda city turbo

or the Daihatsu Hijet

and some more mini suv like the Daihatsu rocky

or the Toyota rav4

How about some Kammbacks
Modern Example (probably the best example of a Kammback ever)

Classic Example (Lovely car!)

Bodies I miss: late 50s 4 door compact (4 door version of vanilla small sedan would be perfect), 60s small car (but not supermini like not-126), late 60s mid-class (to fit between not-Volga and not-K-body), early 70s compact (not-R5 could be that if it were longer), early 00s full-size.

A 60s pickup is coming in the next update. A lot of the other ones you want are quite similar, like the Camaro/Firebird, so it’s likely that only one will be made. There are quite a few new bodies that will be coming soon, especially different sized variants of existing bodies.

The pickup and other upcoming bodies are posted here:

There should be something for everyone by now, regardless of era. However, that clearly isn’t the case; I would suggest a small 10s coupe or convertible, like the Toyota 86 or Mazda MX-5 ND, as a successor to the vanilla not-S2000 body, which is available from 1995 onwards in the sandbox. That’s much too early for anyone wanting to create an affordable sports car in the current era. And going back a decade, why not the 00s equivalent - a smaller version of the vanilla not-C7 body? This is one body style that definitely needs updating as the decades pass.
