Wow! I haven’t seen or heard of Sakana before, but I already like them. Seem like a simple, trustworthy, non nonesense brand. Great name logos too btw!

This is a new manufacturer for most of us, and their budget lineup shows plenty of promise.

A few words from Heikki Sandell, well known metalhead and current CEO of Calavera Engineering:

"It is an honour to present our new car, the besta-fera. As you might infer, the name means bestial or ferocious beast.
This car is very special as it is the work of almost ten years, and we kept true to our roots, dishing turbos or all wheel drive. We are pushing the boundaries on what our traditional set-up can do, and we can say it is the fastest production Natural Aspirated Rear Wheel Drive car.

Our goal was to compete with KHT, and when we started the project in 2006 it seemed an easy task, then as the years passed by, new competitors appear, and more power was needed to compete, which mean to re-engineer the engine, passing from 400hp to 500hp to 600 and so on. And as you know, it’s balls hard and expensive to get more power without the use of fat and heavy turbos.

Finally this year, with the arrival of cars from Dimension, KHT, GG, DSD, Erin, Ventura and our namesake Cavallera, we decided it is time to unveil our love child to the world. It may lack raw power, that’s for sure, but the experience of a roaring racing NA V8 at your back with instantaneous response and low weight powering only the rear wheels, belive me, can’t be matched by the competence."

Canada Motors is unveiling the all-new 2017 Halifax compact in Paris this year by showcasing the XS hot hatch. It is the latest model to join the fiercely competitive segment and promises to be a strong contender. Not much information is available to the public yet, but we can divulge that CM has not shed its AWD to compete with all the RWD models flooding the market as of late while the new 2.4L turbocharged I4 delivers power all the way up to 7600 RPM.

This is a pre-production model, so it’s still subject to change before release.

(Canada Motors is a new company I’m fleshing out, so more will appear in due time.)

@Sillyworld damn it, dude. Those are some nice Photoshops and that is an impressive amount of specific power output.

@ramthecowy the fastests photoshops I have ever done  That car had been a while in my game, it’s my testing mule for new ideas or tracks :stuck_out_tongue: but I decided to give it a restyle and publish it. That output is the result of trying to keep competitive between all the automation community. I blame Strop and squidhead for this insane racing for the fastest cars! It escalated quickly.

Damn! I wish I built a super car now to compete…

Dare is say sub-brand? :smiling_imp:

Go ahead. I’m a newbie and even I made own, you’re the only one missing out. Get on it!

That there is one of the only convincing uses I’ve ever seen for necronn’s bonkers grille.

Also lol the main reason GG and KHT got together was to put together a sick Photoshop, now the level of Photoshop is completely blowing me away :joy:

@Sillyworld It’s beautiful. I love it. It’s so bonkers. I may even have to nick some of your design features, it just screams insanity.

Also thanks for the little hint of my display

Everyone start to claim the fastest (insert) car after Saminda did to the C2000R :yum:

Not really. My hypercar is not related or influenced by Saminda in the least, mainly Dimension and Hypera. KHT is still out of my league.

Hey, KHT out od your league, but Hypera in? These are quite close levels… (Dimension too)

If your hyper car is influence by Saminda … you might end up buliding a lawn mower

Not in terms of performance but actual building. Don’t be offended, I don’t mean that you are inferior to squidhead but it is hard for me to build stuff to his level using his style.

@szafirowy01 I’m just not very good with N/A

The Eau Rouge is turbo tho… Very lightly turbo charged however 10 psi.

The beauty of that car is the overall balance of everything and light weight. Thus it has a near 1:1 power to weight ratio with barely over 1000 hp.

In terms of laptimes - yes they are. What fascinates me is the different approaches every manufacturer has taken to get there.

Did not want to go faster than KHT/GG Diabolica. That thing did a 6:36 in january 16 which I based my final result with Eau on… I’ve ran Diabolica in the current version and… well I managed to forget the speed of the thing. Even with sports interior at 0, and a stereo got a 6:31 as a result so I might have pulled my punch a bit too much
