My small turbine/high AR version of the Eco engine:

Gets slightly better performance with 19.8% efficiency vs. the original 17.6%. The turbo spools quicker at 2100RPM vs 2300RPM and boost lasts longer through the torque curve. Costs are lower because I switched from throttle per cylinder to single throttle.
41mm compressor - 32.3mm turbine - 1.16 AR Ratio - 0.47bar boost

That’s a nice engine with a high economy for 70s standards. I forgot those engines have individual throttles xD.

Anyways, next close encounter is here. I was supossed to publish it yesterday but life happens. This is the 8 out of 10, so first issue is almost done!

With this, I close the first issue of the magazine. I was going to add a buyer’s guide section, but there is not much case now with the buyer’s guide thread. I’ll upload the full issue in a zip later. For the moment entries for the next issue are closed, as I want a to take a break from the magazine to finish some mods and to actually play some automation! thank you to all who send their cars and thank you to all the readers and commenters :writing_hand:

@cpufreak101 Thank you. You know what’s interesting about the communitasia? It has the highest value/price coefficient! Almost twice than the previous cars that I reviewed (the Civera and the Combat). You really get a lot for that price.

Silly should take a break, not to burn out. His projects seem to be humongous.

Don’t know yet, maybe I start receiving entries in a couple of weeks, but I’m not sure yet, but squidhead is right, I want to take a break before I start doing the reviews again :slight_smile:

Thanks, it took quite a bit to get it done :slight_smile: and that’s correct, I want to ver all decades (70s onwards) progressively. I was planning 3 issues per decade, but after seen what it takes to complete a full issue, I will do only 2 per decade instead. Next one will be still 70s cars and early 80s.

But I’m not taking entries yet

Using my genious intellects I have deducted that Silly isn’t taking entries yet. Im Sherlock like that.

So far I have no intention on releasing a new issue any time soon :no_mouth:
Maybe after the shift to unreal. The magazine is really time consuming, specially doing the photos, and as this moment I have the big fruinian muscle cup thing running, with another stage in the future, plus sideworks as mods, and the new itineration of the AMWEC, so I rather go easy, I don’t want to end up burn out or just refusing of doing things because I get tired :slight_smile:

As the title implies, it is now resting in peace †

I’m thinking in bring it back with another format, but running a magazine it’s a looot of work, and I prefer at this moment just to play the game :slight_smile:
