Every time I choose a crankshaft the game crashes. I tried it with several engine types. If you need the crash report I can send it.
In the challenge tutorials I can choose a crankshaft, but then the calculation failes.
That seems to be a problem specific to your install and / or system. Verify game cache, make sure your anti virus has Automation as an exception and try again. If that doesn’t help, see if backing up and removing your database solves the issue (in Documents\My Games\Automation).
Maybe you’re right and my fu**ing Bitdefender has blocked the access to my documents folder… I would say it is a half layer eight problem
