So after a long hiatus after a lot of things happened to my life, I decided to start a new thread.
Introducing…
##Rainmere Inc.
After the purchase of the [Interna Motor] (Interna Motor) via his company, Rainmere Auto Parts Inc, Richard Weston decided to dissolve Interna Motor with his company to form Rainmere Inc in 2003. Specializing in providing OEMs parts to other car company, Weston thrived to provide a budget-friendly, reliable car with the founding of Rainmere Inc.
Rainmere Kwik
The Kwik, launched in 2006 was Rainmere’s first car. The Kwik was intended to be sold in Asian market, especially Indonesia, where Interna Motor was based. It is essentially a rebrand of unnamed Interna’s car that entered the pre-production but never sold due to its acquisition. It is powered by a 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 64.3 HP in 6000 rpm and 92.2 Nm in 2700 rpm. Production started in August 2006 with the starting price of $10000. It is only available in manual transmission and featured basic stuff like AC, CD player and stuff. Its body was made from aluminum, a rare feat in its class. The lightweight material and small engine resulted in a car that weighs less than 800 kg. The acceleration was no slouch for its class too. It can reach 0-100 km/h in 11.8 seconds
Rainmere DM1
“The Ferrari for the poor” is what most people said about the Rainmere DM1. Stands for “Design Motorsport 1”, the DM1 was inspired by Honda NSX which provides supercar performance in a much affordable price. The DM1 design is highly resembles a Ferrari from the outside, but on the inside, instead of a V8, it’s 1.6 liter straight-4 turbocharged engine named M150 in the MR configuration that produces 290 hp mated with 6-speed manual transmission. Using lightweight aluminum body and fiber glass panel, the DM1 was very light at 1089.4 kg. It enables the DM1 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. The DM1 also equipped with premium interior, Satnav as a standard, and a lot of safety features such as traction control, stability control and launch control. With all these feature, it’s a surprise that the DM1 was priced below $40000, making it a very affordable option for sportscar enthusiast.
