if C2000R is really RWD hatchback, and if it will have 300 hp power range then it’s quite suitable competition for my Xy GT (eventually GTS)
Now this latest announcement gives me more hope for this struggling brand. A new rear-drive platform for mass-market passenger cars is something that they have not tried in ages, and could even be used to spawn several new distinct models.
Do anybody realise more and more Saminda are bulit in other country instead of Japan which is their home country?
Having been to Japan, it’s hard to get production plots for MASSIVE factories. Those in Japan have been there since the early 20th century. Not much space for new things these days.
Easier for Japanese companies to go overseas for production.
oh boy. even more competition against my Phyton cars
i really want to taste that multiplayer section now

#Kirei
Saminda Kirei
Engine : I Series (NON i-VIC , 3 Cylinder) , I06F
[quote]The Saminda Kirei is a kei car produced by Saminda for the Japanese market , Government regulations could distort the free market. In Japan, government regulations created a special kind of cars , Kei cars, or light automobiles in official terms. They are limited to 3.4 meters longand 1.48 meters wide, powered by motors no larger than 660 c.c. and produce no more than 64 ps, compared to normal cars they are benefited by lower tax rates, license fees and insurance
Compared with other K-cars, the baby Saminda is noticeably more refined and better built. Its chassis feels generally stiffer. Its sound insulation is more effective. Its interior is made of classier materials and assembled in away more like bigger cars.

#Saminda says Next-Gen C2000R will cost more then Type R
A Saminda spokesman has released some details about the upcoming RWD C2000R
Martin David said that Saminda will not reveal pricing info about the upcoming C2000R in the near future, but he did say that it will be more expensive than the 2015 Saminda Type R which in the UK starts from 29,995 pounds . He added that “it’s going to be a technological marvel.”
Time for my monthly foray into Automation’s most thoroughly immersed car company thread.
Re: PonQi, looks like channeling the QashQai, right down to the weird naming schemes that nobody can ever pronounce. Not sure if I like the idea, but it does look cool, and it probably will shift a lot of units.
Re: CZ7 one off concept, I dare somebody to make that a thing. Ouroboros will be waiting ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
PonQi is actually a chinese pronouciation , the car is designed by Wei Shen chief designer for Wuhan Saminda and Guangzhou Saminda who is also responsible for cars like Zies and CR-e , although the PonQi is bulit in Japan.
C2000R is a good start for us to expand more RWD drivetrain , we might expand to Auxuras brand , but wont expect too soon.
Saminda CZ7, if it will ever become a thingy, would be ruined by electric shit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

#Pegnant lady dies after crashing a Neomo Tano in Johor Bahru , Malaysia.
The latest tradegy reported a Malaysian woman who was killed after a crash was due to ignition failure , she was pregnant and her foetus died too, according to carmaker Saminda.
The case involved a 2012 Neomo Tano compact that was manufactured in Thailand.
Saminda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Managing Director Patrick Lim has “deeply apologised” for the Malaysia incident said in a statement on Monday.
#Saminda to recall more cars again , another 100K in Malaysia.
Saminda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. said in a statement Thursday that owners of the C1, C3, C5, CR3, CR15, Ponqi and all Neomo’s made between 2003 and 2012 must get their ignition replaced.
“Saminda Malaysia reiterates that all of its current selling models are not affected and will continue to uphold transparency and stringent control to ensure customer safety,”

Goddamn, how shitty Saminda cars can be? The only thing it needs is self-detonating
From 2003-2012… That is a lengthy quality control issue. Surely some extensive investigation into what decisions were made to produce such a deep crisis must have been undertaken. Was it an unforseen thing? Cost cutting? Top heavy administration or rapid expansion obscuring the engineering process transparency? This is beyond Takata levels of disaster.
Edit: in fact it’s nearly as big as VW emissions cheating disaster, considering that VW Diesel cars don’t kill you through crashing, but they still do kill people from respiratory complications of emissions.
