it would be nice if we had the T shaped exhaust like the BMW M2 has.

I really can’t say if it works like this since I am not a modder, but in theory, wouldn’t it be possible to make a mod fixture with a transverse muffler like that, that connected to the single exhaust pipe of an inline engine?

I think it is possible but then the exhaust particles would come out from the centre if the car was to be exported to beam.

it should be possible, the game does something similar when you have two exhaust fixtures close together on mid or rear engine car with dual exhaust.
