Guess this is a perk of having your lots go first hmm. Probably not a huge net difference for later lots.

At the risk of causing issues I wonder whether introducing persistent elements that take your submission and bidding behaviours into account between auctions might actually improve balance. That would presume this be a regular recurring event of course.

You okay there @abg7?
Seems you’re having a bid war with yourself

Fixed. My second bid in the post you referred to was meant for lot 107, not lot 106. At any rate, I’m expecting a surprisingly high number of Pyrrhic victories in this auction, in the sense that a bidder paying top dollar for a particular car may not have enough money to win the auction for another one, especially if that bidder won the car via a non-refundable snipe bid. Lot 101 is a case in point; logic states that it should not be worth $<$90k, but there are quite a few bidders here who think it is - and that is something I can scarcely believe. Why in the universe would anyone want to spend that much on such humble mass-market machinery when they can potentially get better value on a more prestigious car? I do not yet know exactly why.

kind of figured, but didn’t want that staying and the price shooting sky high (yet) on 106
