Turbo Release Candidate Testing

Why am I interested in testing. Well, let’s start by why I bought Automation.

This “game” is THE simulator I was looking on IndieDB. I searched for hours on the net, but it were nothing interesting. And one day, I searched on IndieDB and I found the Automation Game. I downloaded it and I created hundreds of engines. I learned lots of parts of an engine with Automation. I read your Twitter every hours, all Facebook news, etc… I also finished all scenarios (bronze minimum) in the game, and look for have all platinum !

I spend about 2 hours per day on my computer, all the day when holiday and week end. I have nothing to play for now, so I have a lot of free time to spend.
I know that finding bugs is not a pleasure. I already done this job for other games, and I liked it. Sure, I’ll be inevitably attempted to have a little fun with turbos, but I will continue searching for bugs.

BUT, I live in France, so you should probably not speak with me because when it’s midday at your home, it’s midnight at mine.

Hope I’ll have a positive answer, you can contact me by mail or Skype.

I would like to help to develop this awesome game, making it as good as it can be and ensuring that the wide audience receives a flawless game.

I have got plenty of spare time and some knowledge in how cars work, this year I am starting college in mechanical engineering, but no idea in computing.
About the requirements, I fulfill all of them, but I would have to learn the automation way of documenting things, but I guess I could help and be useful!

I am Brazilian, so if you would like to have a portuguese translation to automation, I could help with that as well!!

Hey Guys!

I’ve been with you all since the before time of Automation staying up all night watching livestream (mainly for the beard)
I think its about time I help you guys out with some testing. :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m willing to spend as much time as I can on testing the game as I can… Even if it means having NO social life and or developing strange disorders from the lack of sleep.
Anyways, hope you guys choose me for the team!

Thanks

Hey kilrob I would love to help you in any way, even if i have to write a essay!

Would be much apreciated

I dont know about myself…its just that I dont like writing long passages and stuff you know writing stuff down is my weak point…who knows

I would be honored to assist in testing the turbo aspect of the game. I have been waiting for turbos since the beginning of the Automation journey and pre-ordered the game when it first was released. I absolutely love toying around with different setups and trying to find little bugs here and there. My attention to detail is quite exceptional so you can expect that I am more than capable of finding something out of place or in need of tuning. I have a vast amount of knowledge on engines, although, turbos I do not have as much. Even then, I know once I start using it, I will get the hang of it soon enough and begin sourcing out flaws in the system.

I would absolutely love to be part of the turbo testing and I am supremely excited for the turbos to be released. Please consider my to be a candidate for your testing team. I play the game every day so I should be able to get at least 7+ hours in a week.

Thank you,
Amol

I’m interested in Beta Testing. I’m always reporting bugs and glitches to game creators and modders. Also have the Forced Induction Preorder.

I really want to be a beta tester!
I have some experience in testing software and am currently doing a degree in Computer Science, so I also have programming experience.
I can spend an hour or so a day on testing. Also I really love this game and so want to help with development in any way possible.

Hey,
I currently am studying engineering and always recommend automation to friends who often find it really interesting.
A bit of background on my experience with Automation:

  • I had almost all the platinum awards for all of the scenarios when the game was running under the old system with which on the first go, I modeled a 4g93 for my mate, and got the power within 2/3kw and 3/4nM of actual rated specs. I believe I posted it on the FB page and one of you guys responded to me :stuck_out_tongue:
  • I do enjoy perfection and although I have not played it much recently in the updated version due to uni in the holidays, accept nothing less than platinum for every problem I work through.

I have not done game development before however I would be more than happy to help you guys out as I can literally spend hours on this testing various things and pushing to achieve targets. Studying engineering and working on my own car a lot also helps me understand the physics of it so can therefore sense if some things don’t seem right.

I also messaged you guys on FB recently inquiring about v6’s and offering help in the form of sound work (or any way I could).

Cheers,
Luke

Good day
I would like to get the opportunity of helping get this game up to the level that it have potential to get to as well as it deserves. I have never tried anything remotely close to this on a computer, but have been wanting a game like this for a number of years.
I am currently studying engineering at university and will take a master in Automotive Engineering in a couple of years and hopefully get a job in the automotive sector, and would feel like this can be a realistic enough game to help get the understanding of things that are thought.
I am especially interested in the financial aspect of the game since as we all know, “money makes the world go round”, and I feel like this section is the most important part to get as close to perfect as possible. Since I feel like it is the main aspect of the game of running a company and therefore the finance needs to be good.

Hello!

I was looking for a game like Automation for a long time, but I could never find what I was looking for. I’ve spent many hours playing around with cars in Street Legal Racing: Redline, and trying to run my company in Car Tycoon, but I always felt like there was something missing in these games, and that they lacked the engineering approach to a problem that I somehow expected them to have. Only yesterday I have come across Automation, and I was really surprised to see something that pretty much fulfilled my expectation of a perfect car-orientated game. I did decide that I really want to see this game being finished, but also that I should do as much as possible to help in the development process, so I would like to take the opportunity to participate in the turbo RC testing and any further testing required.

Testing the Turbo Release Candidate could prove to be quite fun, since not a long ago I took apart, measured and described the manufacturing methods used on a 1.6 Ford EcoBoost engine. I currently study Motorsport Engineering and it’s really quite interesting to see how the stuff I have learned can be applied in a computer game. This also gives me some technical knowledge that might come useful when testing different aspects of the game.

I really look forward to hearing from you, and good luck to everyone else applying for testing!

Thanks,
Fil

I would love a second chance to help out! After reading about the QA system i am almost as interested in that as the game itself lol

I want to participate. But my problem remains the “language barrier” . My English level is very bad. A real handicap for you

I´d like to help you guys out, and at the moment I also have time to do it.

Hey guys. Would love the opportunity to work on the beta testing. I really enjoy Automation and have been looking for a game in depth like this for a long time. I have always been into fixing things. Be it computers, cars, or anything in between. I went to school for automotive repair and have been working as a technician for VW for 3 years now. I could add some knowledge to your beta testing program. I work hard and get the job done. I’m looking forward to this game being fully released. Keep up the good work!

Ryan

Hello,
I’m on my computer about four hours a day usually doing nothing productive so if I had the opportunity to be productive and enjoy myself then I would take it. I have also long been looking for someone to come out with a game like this so I am willing to provide any help that I can to make the game as good as it can be.

–Stefan Komrowski–

I would like to beta test.

I can test roughly 5-6 hours a day.
Also, I love this kind of game.

I would love to get involved in the testing here. For years, I’ve dreamed about somebody creating a game like this, and it’s been great watching this one be developed. I pre-ordered…well, I don’t remember when, but it was before there was even a demo available to play. I have enjoyed each new update, no matter how minor, just to see how “my” game is coming along. I would love an opportunity to contribute to the game’s development. I don’t have the skills to create something like this, but I do have time and the ability to spend testing the game. I also have three different computers, one older budget laptop (that runs the game barely, on lower graphics settings), a one year old machine with a budget discreet graphics card, and a brand spanking new core i7 laptop, giving me the ability to test it on a variety of hardware. The only thing I can’t promise is that I won’t spend a LOT more than 3 hours testing it.
