Unreal Dev Update: Pre-Alpha Engine Porn

If I remember correctly, I think in Twitter or fb the devs posted a pic where a simple 2-core w/graphics integrated computer was running the game with the minimum quality.

Also, the kee engine is very bad optimized, I run the game with medium quality and still the animations aren’t smooth, but at the same time I can run better looking games with the same laptop. So, if you can run the game now, you might as well play the unreal version

EDIT:
Here it is, but it’s quite different to what I remember

I have a dual core PC with an ultrabook Nvidia mid-range processor getting close to 30fps on max settings. I don’t think UE  can make that worse

Okay guys, I am calm. Since I can run Kee version of Automation on medium graphics, maximum resolution allowed on my monitor and the game runs kinda smooth (except for fps drops needed for calculations, E6550 ;_; )

I think, on the whole you should be fine.

System requirements most likely will go down, not up (and that at higher graphical fidelity).

There you go, the boss himself said it.

Yeah. I was most worried about optimizing, but I am surprised how 2016/17 game would run on my crapbox

Jeez thanks, way to ruin my joke above, Killrob. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

The only sysrq that will go up is the OS :stuck_out_tongue:
IIRC the UE4 version will drop vista support (I think XP support in automation was dropped some time ago)

cant wait for more

Automation currently should still technically support XP, but it is untested.
