1982 Le Mans 24 Hours C-ERA [RESULTS IN PAGE 11]

The real rules of the C-Era (found in the ACO and the FIA), establish this: “With competitors restricted to five refueling stops within a 1000 kilometer distance, the cars were effectively allowed 600 litres per 1000 kilometers.” But I ommited these rule because a car with 60l/100km (needs less fuel than a Jaguar XF-R Or BMW M5 F10, for curiosity), in Automation, I never seen these value in a ok adjusted engine (any engine with turbo and a 15.0:1 compression ratio with máx. boost, because can reach 90l/100km).

And the AUtomation fuel consumption I think that is a 90km/h (a suggestion for Automation: add in the lap time the fuel consumption).

Any update on the race

My computer is broken, and I don’t had my gaming pc (and this computer can’t run games).

The Thursday, my insurer tell me something (because it was broken by a power surge).

Any update?

In this week I will have a new computer: and these are my new specs (in green, the new parts):
[ul]-Zalman Z11 Plus with blue led fans.
-Corsair RM750 80+ gold modular.
-Intel Core i5 4690k.
-Asus Maximus VII Ranger.
-2x Kingston Valueram 1333mhz 2gb (4gb in total).
-Asus GTS 250 1GB.
-Deepcool Gammaxx 300.
-1x WD (NOT Wheeler Dealers JaJa!) Caviar Green 1TB 64 MB Cache.[/ul]

Rock solid. Heart Touching.

Yes, it should handle Automation farily decently

News: I’ve mounted the new computer, and today I will revise the entries.

It’s good to know. ¡Bienvenido de vuelta!

Congrats for the new rig.

Tomorrow I finish the GT Class submissions and all results.

I upload the results in the 1st message of the page 1.

Congratulations to the drivers/builders!

Obviously very pleased with this result! Thank you to vmo for hosting.

I would also like to make a specific shoutout to HighOctaneLove, who has progressed up the standings to snag a very solid 4th in the C class :astonished: Moving up the ladder bigtime! In addition, a fairly major upset by LeSpass, who gave us a run for the money with an extraordinarily quick GT class car! Somehow I am not surprised given just how strong LeSpass has been in the Trans Am series, but boy, I don’t know if I would have been able to make a GT car that fast.

Oh dear, i did really badly. Think i need to spend a lot more time fine tuning the cars.

Thanks for hosting VMO, grats to the winners

You can look the pdf files, and look the differences between your car and the winner to improve.

Very close race between the two of us in the GT class. This time around your car was a little bit quicker.

Also, LeSpass you GT was impossibly fast man :open_mouth:

10th of 13 for first Le Mans not so bad…(Who am I kidding) :frowning:

Thanks for the comments. For the GT car, I tried to focus on top speed avoiding wings or lips. It didn’t have much downforce for cornering, but it seems that it paid off on the Mulsanne.

The car looks awfully dull though.

And I think that is one of the most cheapest GT cars of the competition.

5th!!! :sunglasses: Oh my, I am rather happy about this!!!

And a respectable 17th for my GT… So it’s like a mix of the Old Bogliq and the New Bogliq; nice!
