2026 Perth Strada TCX - Performance, without dilution.
Unlike other cars, the Strada TCX was built for the track first. It’s 2.5L Turbo 5 cylinder gives it a nasty bite, while the 6-speed manual and Vector-AWD system delivers all 335hp to the ground smoothly. 6 selectable drive modes offer a variety of experiences. From the Track mode offering each driver input to be matched with immediate, mechanical precision, to the fuel economy mode providing over 30mpg* for daily drives and grocery runs.
None of the cars cited in the inspirations had that much - in fact, you’re treading on RS5 or A45 territory with that output - but I reckon that 330 horsepower or so should suffice.
The 2026 Langevin Ziege ‘Vortex’
Thoroughbred performance in restrained form, packing a 2.5 Turbo I4 through a 6-speed manual to get you through the canyons with 4 others onboard.
314hp, 250lbft / 24.5 MPG (9.6l/100km) (combined) / 2100lb load capacity / $34,000 autobucks
The 2026 Cado Autoworks Lalune ATK
A badge labelled ATTACK… rally-inspired thinking… 340HP.
The 2026 Lalune ATK is one mighty hot-hatch for the tarmac.
The Lalune ATK is powered by a 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder with 7500rpm redline, sitting on 245 width tires and 19-inch alloy wheels, mono-tube dampers, double wishbone front suspension and multilink rear. Aluminum fenders, hood and trunk. Interior is finished in premium Alcantara. Rated for 27 MPG, curb weight of ~1620kg.
With a sophisticated torque vectoring AWD system, track-ready brakes and an ever-needed 6-speed manual, you’re going to want to put this one on the bucket list.

CLARKSON: In the leaning tower
of Citroen,
I was starting to relax a bit.
She was very pretty.
She just liked it.
She wouldn’t like to go in
Hammond’s, 'cause that’s
stupid.

[SCREAMING]
[GASPS]
Jeremy, can I just say,
this is
the biggest entertainment
I’ve had on a road journey
in my whole life.
It’s absolutely hilarious.
CLARKSON:
It wasn’t hilarious, though.
And since
Hammond’s Cottage was
now suffering from subsidence,
we pulled in for some bodging.
-Hammond? We’ve done 20 miles.
-Yeah? Oh, yeah, I know.
At this rate, we’ll have to
stop nine times to rebuild
your shed,
-before we get there.
-No, no, no, no.
ACZ Presents the Rosewood Zephyr. With its 350 HP powertrain lifted from the Arya, its bulging with muscle. It’s so hot, it was arrested for arson.
Test drive one today, if you can handle the heat.
Is my hot hatch too fast? Im considering submitting a hot hatch that has 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, and can do 1/4 mile in 11.5 seconds plus it has 436 hp
What do you sacrifice for it?
This is my personal opinion, but higher power often comes with sacrifices. A big complex engine will have high maintenance costs. A big turbo may have a lot of turbo lag, take a long time to spool and not be very enjoyable. The engine may not be very economical if it has to make that much power, etc. etc.
Hot hatches are cars for the average joe who not only has to be able to afford the purchasing price, but also the costs to keep using it in their daily life.
it does 25.4mpg is that good for a hot hatch with v6
Oni Nodachi Type R (Hatch)
Imo, a hot hatch should be a balance between performance and real-world usability. 3.4 seconds to 60 is great for a sports car, but it might not be good for real-world driving, commuting, stop-and-go traffic, etc. If it has the handling to back up the speed, and has sacrifices that make sense for the performance factor (like higher maintenance costs and less comfort, as Dragawn said above), it probably makes sense, but id mellow out the power for the sake of usability.
nice work entering a boxer 4 entry
Umm, I’m afraid this breaks the wheelbase rule. Also, that’s not a very pleasant looking torque curve… Although economy is quite impressive for the power.
dawg i forgor abt wheelbase
Five seats, five doors, a trunk and a frunk. The standard practicality of a hatchback with a little bit extra. 975L of cargo volume allows you to bring a grocery run home with ease, and 1200$ servicing costs ensure you’re not emptying your wallet for keeping this hot shot on the road. Advanced Driver Assist Systems featured in the SprintControl electronic assist package ensures your safety before an accident can even occur.
