This was a question pondered about by the engineers at MAG Performance Intelligence (MPi). Now, for their answer? Take their sensible family hatchback, the Mulga, and give it some of the magic used for their sports coupĂŠ, the PX-6.

Yes, you read that correctly. A hatchback with sports car DNA. But what did it inherit? Why, itâs got a 2.0L Turbocharged I4 maki- SIIIIIKE! What those probably drunken engineers ACTUALLY gave it is their prized 2.5L Turbocharged I6 making 235 kw (316 hp).
They are green because they can be placed there.
The reason they could have done that at all is because of itâs front-longitudinal engine placement, a signature of all MAGs, including every Mulga.
The '26 Mulga MPi parked next to its much older sibling, the '98 Mulga 55x.
Along with that, it also shares its VierGo⢠AWD system and 6-Speed manual with the sports car, which can send it to 100 kph (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds, and if youâre crazy enough, this 1,639 kg (3,613 lbs) machine can take you, your family, and their stuff up to speeds of 185 mph (298 kph). Not bad for its power and old-school drivetrain, and you can bet youâll be having fun getting to those speeds, whether it be on the Autobahn or the 'Ring.
