393cc Inline 4 20V on steroids :P

Hello,

I want to share my little 0.4L 20V DOHC Inline 4
If you have $2308.73, you can buy this little monster that can make 172hp @9500rpm

Any suggestions ?

And the good thing is: You wouldn’t even have to return it to the dealer because it would not make it off the parking lot.

Ahaha right !
But how can I increase ā€œa little bitā€ the lifespan ?

At least it runs very nice ! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oooh I see… in the test mode some parts are red ^^

This engine is just making too much power for the capacity and therefore is considered to be melting. With water-air intercooler, the limit for a working engine in the engine designer is currently at 250 kW per liter. Your engine is making more than 300 kW per liter.

This might be a minor problem as soon as the car designer is done. Then the actual grille/radiator area will be taken into account for cooling the engine. But in the engine designer, there had to be some limit for balance reasons.

Looks like you could prob take a couple hundred off the RPM and still have 160+ hp. This should have a pretty good effect on lifespan

nooooo carry on making engines like that atleast it will give me a fighting chance to shift some cars

ok, OK ! My engine is bad and I should feel bad…
I see now, the intercooler can’t handle the heat !

I found special how the cooler ā€œfloatā€ā€¦

fix that floating intercooler Daffy…

It’s alien technology… they use floating intercoolers in their cars you know

I like the new ā€œwifi-coolingā€ technology

WHAT WIZARDY IS THIS!

Lol, yeah that should have some water lines

I am currently uploading a 5 minute video of my 2250bhp engine…32.2GB…of 720p video and no edits what so ever in any of it…I am utterly bonkers…

32GB ?! What do you use ?! Fraps ?

heck no DxTory and I have it as stupidly set to AVI…

Hint… put the video file into windows movie maker and upload it from there. This makes it a reasonable in size.

Thanks I could use all the hints I could use KillRob I am new to recording 720p stuff from my computer…its well my first ever video that I have done from my pc all the rest have been on my phone…vlogs and stuff but I could use the help you know

Use bandicam, it works perfect.

I maked a video @24fps full-size (1920x1080) MPEG-1 80q of 7 min 34 sec that takes only 1216mb !

ah well I still have to learn you know

Yes… we all have to learn everyday  this is my personal thought.
Bandicam just put it’s logo but it’s not that bad…
