i have all metric options checked but the exhaust sizes are still in inches, also is there any way to get rid of the message that pops up every time i press play game in the launcher about the graphics being too high get asked that every time.
We deliberately chose the keep the inches measure on the exhaust even when using metric, as the stepping would create numbers that don’t make much sense in metric.
The warning coming up every time is a bug and will probably be fixed in the next launcher update.
Yup, almost everybody seems to use inches for exhaust sizes and wheel sizes, regardless of using metric for everything else.
For example I have 195mm wide tyres on 15" wheels, go figure
BMW in the mid/late '80s used rims on the 3 series that were in metric.
Otherwise its only Bugatti Veyron and pure racing tyres that has the rims measured metric.
As for exhaust dimensions, i have seen both. 101.6mm=4" 89mm=3.5" 76.2mm=3" 63.5mm=2.5" 50.8mm=2"
I noticed the last cam lobe on no.4 cylinder (this is for sohc, i haven’t checked other configurations) is out of sync and in the wrong position

In the Oil Crisis scenario its asking for an engine with emissions less then 1.644 lbs/hph. I know its a bug where it shouldn’t have a measurement unit, but does that mean it is looking for an engine that has 1.644 emissions, or 1644 emissions? I have an engine with 1375 emissions that wont pass and I don’t know if thats a bug or not.
You have to have less than 1000 emissions, sadly the game converted the value because the unit is still there, if you had used g/kWh you would only need to mentally remove the unit.
