I see the forum title still says submissions are open, is that actually the case or no?

might wanna tell that to MrChips. “AGC37’s deadline is a ways off still, on December 22, 2024 12:59 AM, so you have lots of time to plan and build yet”
Did mention it but got no response.
However you sent the message, I never received it!
It’s fixed now.
Dang, a little sad the Lynx won’t get to compete then. Oh well, it was fun to make! Any idea what the next AGC challenge will be?
well it’ll be up the next host of AGC, whoever that is. We don’t even have the first set of bin results yet.

NORÉ
Where the hot hatch still lives.
Say hello to the 2027 NORÉ N2 FastSport Hydro.
324hp, 6 gears, 3 pedals, what else would you want?
How about an LSD, Hydropneumatic suspension and 1'160kg?
We got you! For only 34'000€!
But see for yourself!
Crafted with the knowledge and precision of years of experience.
The Engine
Under the bonnet is the newest generation of Noré’s ClearDrive technology, overhauled massively to address previous reliability issues. The C13T32 is a 1.3L 3-cylinder turbo that produces 324hp reliably. Fitted with individual throttle bodies and 15V total, this little giant pushes many boundaries.
The Suspension
The car is suspended on all 4 corners with Noré’s iconic hydropneumatic suspension, keeping the car comfortable while allowing it to achieve cornering manouvres like not many other hatchbacks, especially in this price class! It may rely on a rear semi-trailing-arm setup, though don’t wright it off just like that, since the suspension was tuned up to let the rear feel lively and happy once the traction control is turned off.
The Target Audience
It is rater obvious that this car is mainly focused to sell to the type of people, who enjoy driving for driving sake, which is exactly why we made sure to engineer this car for that person. Cheap, reliable enough, fast and fun. What else could you want?
The philosophy behind the N2 FastSport is not to make a profit, it is to reignite the flame. The flame of the joy of driving.
Looks great! I love the color and the asymmetrical headlights
“While this is only the entry for the estate of the challenge, it doesn’t significantly improve the Executor Akasen’s aesthetic score. I like the exterior color, but that’s the extent of my opinion on aesthetic. However, it’s the fastest car around a lap of the challenge at 7:42.63, but that’s not what we tried to achieve. Its drivability is 80.6 and 11.5 for fuel economy, about average. As everything else is below that.”
-VaporRossa
“I like the fact that you are the only one that was bold enough to go for a wagon. The design lacks a lot of depth and has some oddly placed fixtures. Maybe if you would have used some body molding it would have made your entry look a lot better”
-Fantic2000
“Likely the only supercar entry, the MCX500 isn’t shy about its colour palette. Although I struggle to find it attractive, with too many vents and an overused amount of lettering. It could be good if it were less busy.”
-VaporRossa
“The design of the MCX500 is very crowded and all over the place. The tires are very big and bulky making the car appear like it would prefer the dirt over tarmac. This entry receives the lowest overall design score and fails to make up for it with its engineering. The Mako performs below average in nearly all categories, except for safety, where it scores 73.2. However, it comes reasonably close to the target lap time, clocking in at 7:45.05.”
-Fantic2000
“While It’d be funny to see a crossover compete with sports cars, I think it deviates from the theme, particularly given the limited exterior aftermarket modifications done (if at all). Maybe it’s better reserved for grocery shopping. Suiting for this entry, it takes 1st in drivability at 92.3, but weirdly the last in fuel economy at 6.8 kmpl.”
“I can definitely see the idea behind this, but it does not fit the brief at all. Not too mention that the design feels all over the place.”
-Fantic2000
“The Chevar looks like someone melted it down and threw on some mismatched purple food colouring. The chrome wheels and an absurdly tall ride height make it look like a cheap plastic toy.”
-VaporRossa
“This particular entry gives me Hotwheels vibes, but not in a good way. The ride height is also super high, which doesn’t help the overall aesthetics at all. Beyond its design, the Chevar excels in the engineering department, performing mostly above average. It secures 2nd place in drivability with a score of 88.1 and 3rd place in sportiness with 76.2. Impressively, it matches the target lap time exactly at 7:45.00. However, multiple regulatory infractions result in a 0.3 second penalty, slightly detracting from its overall performance.”
-Fantic2000
“The Viverna’s retro-inspired design, while distinctive, requires refinement. Proportions appear off-putting, and the engine vent’s design may inadvertently trigger trypophobia in some. Nonetheless, I can see the ideas it tries to portray. In terms of engineering, it pours the focus on sportiness, standing tall in 1st place at 80.6, with relatively low service costs at $1805.”
-VaporRossa
“The Viverna uses a lot interesting design choices that do not work that well with this type of car. Like the chrome in the front and rear for example.”
-Fantic2000
“An apologetically brutal entry, The Mastin’d be intimidating in your rearview mirror, despite its friendly blue colour. However, its design seems somewhat cluttered, and the wheels don’t fit the arches.”
-VaporRossa
“There is lot going on for the Mastis design wise. Unfortunately it doesnt work that well. The engineering of the Mastis is below average overall, but it truly undermines itself with one of the worst reliability scores in the competition at 72.0 and excessive fuel consumption. On the plus side, it stands out as the only entry to hit the target lap time perfectly without incurring any penalties. Unfortunately, these positives aren’t enough to offset its significant drawbacks.”
-Fantic2000
“The Eleven blends square retro styling well with modern technology, as seen in its lightness. However, the side view could benefit from more attention. The engineering is well-executed, with 1st in class fuel economy, 2nd in sportiness. It only falls short on safety by being the worst.”
-VaporRossa
“The Dragotec Eleven looks great in the rear section, however, it falls short when you turn to the side and front. It would benifit greatly from some more depth”
-Fantic2000
“This entry demands attention be given to it, the R22 Series R sports a full livery with endurance racing inspired components. The fixtures are too prominent for my liking, especially the oversized side vents.”
-VaporRossa
“A very sleek looking car with a nice simple livery that compliments it well. It does have some questionabely placed fixtures however, like the big vent on the sides. Even though it looks fast, the Renfield ends up being the least sporty car in the entire field, with a really low score of just 36. It doesn’t do much better in most other important areas, scoring below average there too. On the bright side, it does take first place in safety with an impressive 80.4, and it hits the target lap time perfectly. Sadly, that’s not enough to save it, as the Renfield gets hit with a big 1.2 second penalty for breaking multiple rules.”
-Fantic2000
“This funky little hatchback looks ready to compete straight from Namwon’s factory. The design is distinctive, but the 3D fixture work makes it odd from certain angles. Overall slightly below average engineering, but it’s consistent enough to place 12th.”
-VaporRossa
“The Namwom looks like a proper quircky hatcback that is meant for twisty mountain roads. A solid design overall. The only thing that I don’t like is the headlight and taillight design.”
-Fantic2000
“A small, but mediumweight entry. The Xeox styling is good, but there isn’t much to say about it.”
-VaporRossa
“This car looks like it would be a fun little tracktoy. However, the design is not very coherent in my opinion and the stance makes it look like a monster truck. The Xeox is built really well and performs well above average in pretty much every area. It stands out with the best reliability and the lowest service costs. It also did very well with almost hitting the target lap time, recording a time of 7:44.99. However, its pretty average looks keep it from reaching its full potential. If it had a more exciting design, it could’ve easily been a top 5 contender.”
-Fantic2000
“As its name implies, the Nemesis effectively conveys a menacing presence through its long-bonnet, short-tail sports car form and decently placed fixtures to compliment the base body. It comes with surprisingly strong reliability and 2 stars priorities. The engineering compliments it nicely to be carried into top 10, well done!”
-VaporRossa
“A very mean looking car that appears to be very fast due to its proportions. The sides could use some love tho”
-Fantic2000
“The Izanagi Flütchen looks vibrant in its colours, along with modifications done for competition. It keeps with the challenge theme, with nice detailing done where it matters.”
-VaporRossa
“A very clean build that looks coherent overall. My main complaint being the colour choice for the wheels. This build is pretty average in most areas, with nothing standing out too much. The one thing that really impresses is the drivability, scoring a strong 86.3. It’s definitely a highlight. Aside from that, the car doesn’t stand out much in other aspects.”
-Fantic2000
“I’d been looking forward to this entry, as the Pebble Mark II is heavily retro inspired, truly lightweight, almost resto-mod even. I love the chrome accents around it, very unique to the rest. It’s carried by good aesthetic score, as the engineering is below average. Pretty affordable service costs, though lol.”
-VaporRossa
“The pebble is very solid and clean build overall with an obvious hint to the past, but it might be too simple looking. The sides in particular look a bit bland.”
-Fantic2000
“This thing suggests absolute tarmac traction, perhaps because the Javelin Evo RS shares its name, and some styling with a certain legend. Nicely detailed overall but it seems lengthy.”
-VaporRossa
“Overall a very well executed entry. I absolutely love the headlight design of the Wolfe. However, the proportions do slightly seem off to me. This entry shows strong engineering in some key areas, earning 3rd place for reliability and the 2nd highest safety score. However, it looks like some compromises were made in other areas. Overall, the Wolfe secures a well-deserved 7th place.”
-Fantic2000
“Unlike its name, the Leisurely is all business and isn’t here to play nice. I like it from all angles, though the lettering might be somewhat oversized for my preference. Similar to the Pebble Mark II, the Nis4 is carried by strong aesthetic score, with below average engineering. Alongside service costs still below $2000.”
-VaporRossa
“The Nis4 GT4S is a sleek and mean looking sportscar. Nicely detailed build.”
-Fantic2000
“The Hunter looks like it just came straight from street racing last night, slapped on some numbers, and is now totally legal for daytime racing. The vibe and detail are immaculate with this one!”
-VaporRossa
“The Miyoko Hunter V2 does not fool you with its looks. This is a car that s(creams) that its build for the streets. I love how clean it looks, whilst being menacing at the the same time too. This entry performs poorly in terms of engineering, falling well below average in the 3 and 2 star priorities. It even has the lowest scores for drivability, reliability, and fuel economy, making it the worst entry in these areas.”
-Fantic2000
“I’m a fan of this well-executed, high-end entry! The Noma looks sharp, with cutting-edge components that give it a real advantage over street-tuned entries. The engineering is as the exterior may suggest, well-balanced across the board.”
-VaporRossa
“Sexy and elegant are the first two words that come mind when I see the Noma. I love how the few sharp lines on this car are integrated so well with the curvacious nature of the body.”
-Fantic2000
“The Evaque RT is precisely what I’d hoped for when designing this challenge. It resembles a street fighter, and I absolutely adore it!”
-VaporRossa
“Arima knows how to build cars! Absolutely stunning car that matches the brief perfectly in terms of Aesthethics. Taking a look at the engineering, this entry performs just a bit below average overall. However, it stands out for having the highest service costs in the entire field, which come in at a staggering $4656.20.”
-Fantic2000
“The Nodachi appears to have exceptional traction and comes in well-suited spec for competition. I appreciate the attention to small details. A masterclass in tuning from Oni, with strong 3 stars priorities, without 2 stars and 1 star left overlooked.”
-VaporRossa
“The Nodachi Type R looks like a good fit for some intense battles in mountains. A very well thought out design that will turn heads everywhere it goes.”
-Fantic2000
“With a go-anywhere, do-anything attitude, the Isère makes a well-rounded entry with squared yet sharp looks. Nicely detailed and quirky styling.”
-VaporRossa
“I love the sharp appearance of the Billancourt. It looks very mean and muscular. Overall a very nicely detailed entry. This entry came very close to the target lap time, clocking in at 7:44.99. The Isère doesn’t particularly excel in any one area, with some scores falling below average and others above. It’s fairly balanced overall, and although it was nearly tied with the Oni, it managed to score just high enough to secure the win.”
-Fantic2000
Sorry for the wait! But here are the final results of AGC37 WR Spirit! Congratulations to the podium winners, and we hope you enjoy participating as much as we did organising our first forum challenge. Happy New Year and see you next time in AGC38!
Thank you to everyone for participating. Sorry again for how long we took!
Guess I messed up somewhere with some last minute changes on the car for my aero penalty, otherwise though it was close! great challenge and cool “ingame” car select stuff. Thanks for hosting!
If it gets passed down then I can host.
also your pings didn’t embed properly
woah that looks so cool how you did the posts look like it was from a videogame.
Also 9th place aint that bad for what was just me recooking my csr entry lole.
(P.s. I should’ve went with bronze rims instead of gunmetal my bad)
8th place not bad! I had to change the car last moment because the first one was on the 2.0m mini not-an-etype.
Loved the car selection menu
Pretty solid for the rush build, very epic hosting
Firstly, thanks to the hosts for such a great round, I had a lot of fun building the car and the results were well worth the wait. Also, congrats to everyone else who participated! Sadly, I don’t think I can handle two concurrent challenges, so I will be passing it down to @Riley.
Alright I said I would host so I will, I need an idea though so I will be back in about a day or two
