Air or water cooling for my next pc

There isn’t a thing as enough SSD :stuck_out_tongue: It’s all a matter of budget.

This is needed

And what do people think about nvme ssds? I want to use a WD black 512g when they come out cuz it looks good for the price. I am willing to spend cash but not too much, value is key.

I’m just using a Samsung 850 Evo for my ssd. Great $ per reliability when I bought it.

So much that. I still don’t know why people clinge on AS5… get an Arctic Cooling MX-4 or Gelid GC Extreme. And most manufacturers deliver their coolers with paste that already is equivalent to or better than a AS5. Xigmatek, Corsair, CoolerMaster, Noctua and BeQuiet do

They don’t add alot for your day2day performance needs. Sure data copies much faster than on normal SATA-SSDs, but in most applications you wont notice a feelable difference. But if price is lower/same, why not.

I did install a CLC-Watercooler recently. When you have a limited CPU-Cooler height, these are great. I changed from a Scythe Shuriken to a H80i-v2 - both are same in height, they barely fit under the PSU. The H80i lowered temps by over 30c though, and the Overclock could be upped by 400MHz, while being more quiet.
