Any recommendation for Car Culture in Japanese Street books title?

i need some help, since i’m going to write undergraduate thesis about the evolution of japanese street car culture in general and how globalization affect it i need at least 2 or 3 book title about Japanese Car Culture for minimum requirement for my thesis reference and i need more than documentary, article, or journal since my faculty doesnt see it strong enough to back up a undergraduate thesis.

so far google only lead me to numbers of journalistic articles and the books that i found doesnt really have a topic that specify japanese car culture or at least street car culture.

All I can say is “good luck”. I can sort of re-tell the full history of Nissan Skyline GT-R, but it only shaped the 90’s in terms of manufacturers starting to cheat the gentlemen’s agreement more bravely. The full story is easily found in the interwebs though.
