Well I’ve transferred automation files to my phone zipped them and sent them on to my partner at work if I’ve been running late and didn’t have time when in front of my home computer. At least on droids it not a problem to transfer files from my computer to the forum via the phone.

I probably won’t close the challenge exactly at the deadline because I will be in bed then. So as long as it says OPEN in the thread title you will be able to submit. I have to shut the doors at some point if we ever want to see the results. :wink:

I’m not quite sure how you would transfer the files from your computer to your phone to the internet. Most phones won’t recognize computer files.

I have a 2 year old samsung stellar that can read edit and store files from my PC just fine via a micro sd card or micro USB cable.almost any android or windows phone should be able to do it. Not sure about iPhones though.

Since entries are now closed, here’s one of the engines I came up with, but decided not to enter because of the small size of the powerband and the poor driveability

Well, this is what i entered with:

Wow, i didn’t think it was possible to hit 600+bhp, my turbo power record is 460-500bhp, drives really bad compared to the 415bhp N/A thing that took me hours to optimise, the one that i entered :smiley:

We had similar issues with 600+hp motors, it’s true that the wider powerband turbos did much better, especially in the slower tracks. I guess we’ll see how it all goes!

From a high of 565 hp I dropped the power down to 470. turbo is spooled by about 3800, power peaks at 7700 and redline at 9500, its nice and quick through the bends, lots of power band to play with :slight_smile:

Seems we have extremely similar amounts of power, though my torque curve is quite different (and lower, at 492 Nm).

Interesting… I tried to make a V8 engine, but I felt the mid range power wasen’t enough…

This is what I entered the BRC 1100 with… I fear it won’t be the most competitive engine as it was designed for a good mid-high powerband that sacrificed overall power.
