Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [FINISHED]

Like the comment on my Car! And YES! I’m not last. And I’m proud that i can say, that my Car deserves it’s name, it’s really a Viking Special. hehe

*55 and *45 At least i’m not last

I was expecting to be near the tail end, 56/80 did not disappoint!! BAHAHAHAHA  Did better than I thought I would though (on this stage).

Teeheeheehee~

Okay, seriously? I thought we already made it clear that the entries get checked and you can’t hide the math, so if team WRT (i.e. the team I’m a part of) had been cheating, we would have gotten DQ.

Though given our turbo car is kind of a bit faster than everybody else’s on this stage, I guess I’ll take suspicion as a compliment. I can promise you we double, triple, quadruple checked our entries to make sure they complied with regulations. Otherwise, all I can say is that Strkyer engines are awesome. But as **Der Bayer **said, this is just the first stage, and we all know that this also happens to be the fast stage. WRT Turbo is expecting to take a significant hit in the slower stages… at this point I would say the guys you should be watching out for are the WRT NA guys :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m very happy with C-Squared Motorsport’s BRC 1100 finish, but our position in the Super 1000 class was to be expected since it was just thrown together in a matter of 20 minutes .

I’ll be waiting to see how WRT’s very poor driveability cars handle a difficult track :stuck_out_tongue: This track was perfect for their cars I’d say, pretty fast, with fast corners, working perfectly with their high power and high downforce.

Top 5, awyeah, I’m curious to see what the standings will be after the very slow track, if balancing is bang on then we should expect some NA cars to be ontop in overall after that.

Could we get an overall standings also for the drivers? Even if just top 20 :stuck_out_tongue:

Overall single player standings don’t make sense after the first stage.

How come? Team Entries notwithstanding, each driver still has their individual times so wouldn’t it be just like the shakedown?

Not that I’m asking for this information myself (I’ll just throw some numbers into the calculator myself), but rather, I must not be understanding something!

Err… you have the times of the single players ranked from top to bottom. How would the overall standing after the first stage look like? Exactly.

After the second stage an overall single player ranking makes sense.

OH. Duh. Of course that’s what you meant. I have no idea why it didn’t click, I guess it’s past my bedtime

But throwing it together in 20 minutes is what essence of car building is about. You see, both of my cars were thrown together in 10 or 15 minutes, the BRC1100 one’s position isn’t the worst one, and Super 1000… Well I guess I’ll own you all in result/effort ratio.

Had I not messed up thr platform year and caused pleb to scramble for a last second fix I’d put us another 10 places up.

Don’t worry, we’re doing well, and we will do better on the slower stages thanks to our cornering! (Not to brag or anything :stuck_out_tongue:)

Top 10 in BRC 1100, and mid-pack in Super 1000… not bad. Considering the amount of time I spent on the 1100 car, I’m happy with that, and as for the Super 1000? Yeah, there’s a reason it’s the R1-N (Revision 1 - NA engine). It did get some help from the fact that all the suspension is the same as the 1100 car.

Mid-pack on Super 1000 and somewhat worse on BRC 1100.
Not bad for two cars with unoptimized engines (should’ve fiddled with the quality sliders) and stock suspensions (only thing changed was the ride height).

Just downloaded the engine manual, and looks like it’ll be very, very useful for later competitions.

17th in Super 1000, pretty happy, probably going to go down in the slower stages though

My sandero is legendary, position 59 out of 62 in super 1000, and my logan 45 out of 80, the last one is pretty good i think.

Thanks for the props, the Volvo’s result is surprising for the brick it is. Unfortunately higher speed was it’s party trick and it is near undrivable on slower sections even with the sloppy suspension I put on it.

Volvos are underated imo and can always be found doing well in motorsports, one even won our Bathurst race back in the early 90’s so I hope my car is a worthy tribute.

Ps. Really stoked how well my super 1000 Rx7 did… I really focused on getting the looks right and making sure it revved well over 10,000 rpm more than how it actually performed… it will most likely be spanked on slower course however.

68 of 80, not too surprised, I learned quite a bit which will allow me to do better next time. I did try to tune more for the rougher tracks so we will see if I fair better there.

The second stage should really set the pace for this challenge, as no one would have been able to tune their car for it. So this first stage is nothing more then seeing what other people made.
