Blues and Moonshine! (Open!)

I wouldn’t rely on the cargo volume stat, nor anything that depends on it, including Utility and Practicality. The latter is also possible to cheese with a 9-seat wagon, which still somehow has 1250 liters of cargo space.

Realistically, the extra seats would’ve been removed, no?

Even though I may not enter this challenge, I agree with Moroza here. The game has a very weird definition of practicality. When I ran WISC, I had to come up with my own numbers since the game claimed Isabella’s tiny little hatchback was more practical than the several full size wagons and SUVs I received.

That’s because that hatchback was a TARDIS (bigger on the inside)

Or was it smaller on the outside?

I’ll see if I can change it lemme see what I can do

So here’s what got changed.

  • Cargo volume minimum requirement got reduced to 200 Liters.
  • Cargo volume got removed from score points
  • Utility value was added as a 3 star priority
  • Practicality was moved to a 1 star priority

As for seats, it’s open, use 2+2 or just 2 seats, or use 2-3 layout for runners cars, it’s not limited.

Are people able to enter a vehicle for both classes or is there a limit to 1 submission total (so choose which category carefully)?

I’d say, one or the other, or both.

they are scored separately i don’t see why that should be a thing…

You can enter for both (1 sub per category)

Submissions are now open! Rule deliberation is now over

1955 Bovos Wolverine

Bootlegger hotrod

The right tool for the job

Long before rap had its East Coast-West Coast feuds,
there was another type of regional competition going on
to define what makes a car a hot rod.
On the west coast, customizers and dry lake runners drove
the hot rod scene and achieved much of the notoriety
and fame that still defines hot rodding today.
In the rough and tumble South, hot rods were,
by necessity, built for a specific purpose.
The Bovos Wolverine is a perfect example of a ridge running hauler built for one purpose: outrunning the law.

Survival for many families was tied to moonshining.
Turning corn and sugar into liquor and transporting that
illegal brew called for fast cars and brave drivers.
Early hot rods in the South had three simple ingredients:
unassuming exteriors, suspension modifications to
carry heavy liquid loads at high speeds,
and a motor that could scream through the hills when pursued
by revenuers bent on stopping the illegal whiskey trade.

Some enterprising souls even rigged up primitive James Bond style tricks installed to slow down pursuers such as mechanisms to drop tacks and oil, hidden police sirens and lights, and bright lights in the rear to blind pursuers.

Operation catch the weasel

A capable car for justice

During the 1950s, in areas where moonshine or bootlegged alcohol remained a significant presence, law enforcement officers, including state troopers and local police, actively pursued and apprehended bootleggers.

A fast and practical car like the Bovos CrimeBuster were used for efforts involving tactics such as stakeouts, high-speed chases, and raids on distilleries.

omg bestie oh no what’s that behind us

bestie omg it’s the police but due to their budget being cut, all they could afford was the 1955 GriVAZvK 2446 from the glorious communist state of Kouvola.

The communists fought a long fight, until everyone realized, the shithole town of Kouvola wasn’t worth fighting for, and they just let the commies do their thing with the town.
