This might be a dumb question but I read alot about Boxer engines (Manual, Forum posts) but it seems I don’t have them ingame yet?!
Are they not released yet or is my installation broken?
I preordered automation (not the supercharged edition) so I’m not talking about the “demo” version.

They are not ingame yet. They have been in closed beta (only calculations-wise, no graphics) for a short time, so I added them to the manual. I thought this could save me some time for correcting the manual once they will be out. 
And no, they won’t be out soon.

Was driving me crazy that they where mentioned everywhere but I couldn’t find them 
I can never seem to get into the open beta, I keep coming back to the game before and after they’re scheduled, and I’ve missed the boat again.
Making an early 911 engine, and I’ve got the specs almost perfect using an inline-6… but it just isn’t the same 
Can’t wait for the boxer engines, hopefully 4s and 6s
If it makes you feel any better, the boxers weren’t in the open beta either. The open beta that has just gone was to test out the stuff that was about to be released into the public builds
