In the last test, Leo had a 2.8l turbo and I a 2.6l.
I ran a 2,6L in previous test
I’ve got a 3.5 turbo V6 in my main car
2:14 on V12 3.2L and 2:13 in V8 in same size
i dont this V12 really worth it with this tight budget
Try moving anything out of your save folder which does not belong to your car (car trims and models, engine variants and families).
Just tried that. Same thing :\
Do yourself a favour and delete all factories, engineering and production folders.
And same result
The car is finished?
As finished as it’s gonna get for the thursday tests.
Then send me the Automation export so I can take a look.
thursday? the second test is thursday?
flick, i better hurry.
21.5 hours to go. how many bodies can you do until then?
I’m at 37 now… How do I know? Because I now have model 1 through to 36 plus the one I sent in last time, need to organize my testing ground
i should just re-use my Hockenheim car and make it reliable but i want to make something different this time. So far new car is doing 2.15
I tried doing that and had to significantly downgrade! Running the same car but with 4.6l V8 FP (with 100 less HP ) and geting just under 2:15 with no adjusting. I think I’ll be able to find a breakthrough and bring that down at some point…hopefully!
If you keep fiddling with settings and make small adjustments while testing all the time, good things can happen. Now I managed to get below 2.10 on sports tires, but the next test will show if my fuel economy is too extreme, biting nails and crossing fingers
The shiny booklet showed the reduction of tyre grip to humidity but I did not see any tyre grip to wear % graph or information.
Do the tyres loose grip with tyre wear? and if so is there a resource on how this takes place.
