BRC 1976 - Under Pressure [E8-Q]

are wings on the hood actually allowed?

^well there aren’t any rules against that.

so how long until deadline. i planned to tweak my car all day long, but i ended up in a huge nonstop traffic jam all day long. so, fuck you life

There are no rules against it. As long as it is not overpowered… Is it? If we might end up in a field of such cars, I might still consider banning it.

how effective are wings?

like wings vs lips, aren’t they the same though? or are they differ in some way i didn’t know about?

Wings produce more downforce than lips do.

it is not something out of another world. there are bodies where you can put a wing on the rear bumper. i will have to try some morphing

Is it just me, or we lost quite a bit of engine power since Hockenheim 1000 km?

nope. most of us we did lost A LOT.

not me, i went pretty overweight.

I actually picked up 40hp

arghh. top 10 times will have to do for now. need to test the car.

is this bodyshell is illegal? because i cant load it to BRCTools even though i’ve remove all other .lua files

It is legal and it will work. Have you cleaned only the trim folder or the models/engines, too?

Do i need to set a pit strategy? Or can i use the default irregular stops with Sprint mode?

For now (the pre-season tests) you don’t need to. For the actual season you should adapt your strategy to your car. Else you can lose minutes.

yep, done that. however the tools give me bluescreen for some reason

and btw, there 2 same bodyshell like in the pic with different engine configuration, one is the rear engined one that basically got pink body and the one with front engined one that basically im currently using

The error message can help.

It does not find the car model. Either you removed the wrong files or something different… Try an export directly from within Automation and unzip the files in the exported zip to your save folder again. Then try again.

alright, it works, thanks. im gonna submit it now

Too late for this test, sorry. Video is recorded.
