24v V8 haha but i might go back to the OHV. I actually did testing for 1966 with a SOHC 24v as well, but then went back to the OHV 283 for the season races.

People here seams to have larger engines then me. I only have a 2,1 liter NA engine with 299 hp but it will rev your brains out.

Can you teach me something? What does the 283 mean?

Also. I keep trying to make an (S)OHV when you mention it, I think it’s quite hard to achieve the times you are, if I fit a similar engine into my car I’m not able to break 2:14.

Seems it could be cubic inches? Or some other moon unit :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, thank you, I understand now!

Who’s NormanVauxhall (Muhahaha I’ve began the curse!) Btw i’m Volmedort. Why are people saying his name is a curse?

try visit 1965 BRC series and you’ll be understand

Is 660hp and >300kph topspeed enough to enter?
The last revision of dyavol can do this. It unleashes hell in BRC

Useless Comment Pboy123. Stop spamming please, nice that you are russian but i could care less

I hope my fuel consumptio will be better, i tweaked a couple of days to reduce it. In prre-test six the consumption was horrible. Also the choice of body was wrong i guessing but as long as i am not last like the communist nerd build last time i am happy. I am worried about this Betonschleife, is it longer than normal schleife or what exactly is the deal with it @Der_Bayer

The betonschleife is basically a part of the old Nordschleife, a bit more than 2 km long. It includes the start straight, the südkehre, the back straight behind the paddock and the Nordkehre. So it mostly about acceleration and braking.

Let’s just chill. We are all friends here.

That’s heaps, well more than I am running on both. Without giving it away, you are looking at 100 and 30 more than me (roughly). But it’ll make you a massive threat come Hockenheimring. Which is really cool.

It’s really cool that you are from Russia, I didn’t know we had another Russian player! Привет!
(Forgive me, I used google translate) I am from Australia.

I’m looking forward to this so much. Thank you as always Der Bayer for running this, it is a stupid amount of work

So around 550hp and similar topspeed. Will be fun competition, but i am worried my car drinks too much fuel or is uncontrollable but once driver is able to control it it will run away at every straight

and crash in corners. :ambulance:

Just to echo Absurdist, calm down please. No need for any of that above really.

Damn… its finally done. After investing too much time into optimizing it i am still not 100% happy, but I cannot be bothered to tune it to winner-levels. I hope that it will be a fun competition with more interesting results than last time (when it was a show of a handful of people)
I am also looking foward to the oncoming commentary sessions we will host again!

The car looks great, but that spoiler spoils it. I tend to avoid that spoiler. But, if you like it i won’t bother you.
BTW, looks like a Group-B rally car.

IMO knowing there only 3 track that have super high speed section and most track is mostly are short straight with sharp turn i think you should use the power acceleration if you have the grip.

i can reach 276km/h, but i limit my car to 270km/h for better acceleration and it help track time in automation test track
