No, this won’t disqualify you. According to the current regulations, it is ok if the engine, when mounted into the car (-> cooling) has got an MTBF of > 20000 km.
ok! thanks
Thanks for your information;p

This is the end of this rallye, grats to all! I hope we all learned a bit from this test and the next one will hopefully be a bit more awesome!

Podium for the Znopresk Zap! on the 3rd stage. At least the good handling of the Zap re-payed here. I was in the middle of 170kW cars with an humble 150kW.
The Zeta perform decent, but I wasn’t expecting great results at the end.
Wow didn´t expected that my Group B Car is going to be 21. in Stage 3
I hope in the next rallye my cars get better results. I already improved the engines got 150kw in Demo 1600 instead of 115
Technical specifications and groups will change for the next rallye. Don’t spend too much time optimising your old cars.
I’m in the top10 on both categories , cool!
13th in group B is way higher than expected ^^. ONE did pretty well, especially on the twisty stage.
Wow, surprised that I managed to hold onto 5th, and that I managed 6th in what should have been my worst stage by a long way.
Congrats to all the winners and those that got on the podium
Once again I’ve run the I6 version of my car around the track, and oh boy has it taught me the benefits of tameness. Despite having marginally better cornering at all speeds it only managed a time of 7:39.51, more than 6 seconds slower than my real entry and only good enough for 13th place. This is because it has a much worse tameness value
That would have given me a total time of 20:09.95. Faster than my current total time, but I would still have finished 5th
Nice! Final stage pull-through to get 3rd from last! Next time around, I certainly hope there’s something about fuel regulations… or at least emissions.
Nice, 16th place, the EGT-84B’s tameness and drivability did really help in making my placement better
And that’s what I call a jack of all stats. 9th place, even though it was 9th only once, and 10th the remaining times.
I would like to thank Der Bayer for his time developing this great Automation racing championship. It was great fun for all of us and none of it would have been possible without his expertise.
All hail The Bavarian !!!

I agree, great race everyone, really satisfied with 3rd spot, hopefully I can repeat that in next series, but I think that’s going to be tough
And wow, looks promising…and hard on the cars, Bayer.
Also, I used the fastest cars .zip to analyse my opponents thoroughly
Bayer, if I may ask, what I didn’t get is why you used ladder chassis?
I needed weight (because I gave myself 100 kg weight penalty). If I have extra weight, I want it as low as possible in the car.
Ooh my Microx, wonderfull …!, we reach 15th!!!.
Many thanks Der Bayer for the competition, really nicely done with the datasheets, etc
Wow the next rally is going to be tough…
The thing I loved most about this championship is the overview of everyone’s cars, with the small comment at the bottom about how the car is expected to perform. It gave it all a sense of officiality.
My car gave its best performance on stage 3, as I expected. Still finished badly though.
Der Bayer, if I could give a suggestion. Maybe you could give N/A engines a 500cc or so increase in displacement limit, because they’re kind of underpowered when put up against the Turbos. At least with the current build regulations. (The real 1100kg class in Group B used 4000cc N/A engines.)
