I just downloaded the program and update it to the latest update but I can not use it. When I press “play demo” will open a new window that just is completely white, and about half a second after closing it down again and then nothing happens as if the program does not have started.
I’ve tried to run the program as adminstrator, and I’ve tried to change the quality and everything but it does not help
Is there anyone who can help me?

I just d/l’d it myself and pre ordered, but can’t seem to make any changes to an engine. Not exactly a newbie to engine design/theory, as I’m a 39 year journeyman mechanic. I’m all logged in with my key # and everything.
Any help appreciated.
@bmw11: can you be any more specific? What steps do you take? Where exactly does it stop working?
@Dragfluid: have you tried setting all your graphics setting in the Automation Launcher to minimum as well as switch off Screen Space Ambient Occlusion?

Perhaps I was trying to start out the wrong way? I see that I can play the scenarios, so is that what I was doing wrong? I need to build up points in the scenarios first?

If it will let you play the scenarios, and go into the “Sandbox mode” to build engines, then its working as it should be.

No, I wasn’t able to make anything respond in Sandbox mode. But going to the scenarios, brought some nice results. I haven’t had a chance to play yet tonight, but I will be shortly.

Hmmm, that’s a bit odd. Do note that when you start building an engine from scratch you need to pick things in order (as in you need to pick block configuration, then material etc.)
I got it working and it works fine now.
I believe I was having an Adobe issue and this was mucking up a few things.
Anyway, I’m enjoying it and am looking forward to when the game is completed!
