I hope this is the right place for this, the exporter said to post on the forum if anything went wrong with the conversion.
I’m sure not all performance drops are necessarily bugs, cars will often perform worst in real life conditions than they theoretically do, but this car’s performance drop is quite drastic. I’m not sure if the quality sliders don’t impact the exported car or if high rpm engines are the problem, but here is the car. Selys - Formula 18.car (29.1 KB)
I assume your car is turbocharged, because if so thats due to how beam does turbos. Unlike in automation, beam turbos seem to act like a multiplier to naturally aspirated engines, so what appears to be happening is that exporter guesses what the torque curves of your engine looks like without the turbo, then beam adds the turbo on later.
And also turbo performance is based on your CPU speed and it being able to do physics calculations so if your game runs below 30fps you’re really going to notice a lot of turbo power missing.
Also just keep an eye on if it’s a traction issue and ESC is cutting power to the wheels a lot.
Ok that makes sense, thank you!
