We’re currently safe, but 2 of my friends had to be Evacuated. We are prepared if we do need to leave, but it’s unlikely.

We suffer of that in the current city I live, every couple of years there is a huge fire in one of the nearby forests… Then, once the smoke is cleared, private companies start building in otherwise PROTECTED territory. I don’t know if that’s your case, but that really really sucks, when the fires in great forest are caused for just building.
And also, the ash in the air sucks too, make sure you don’t stay outside long and use this thing
