I didn’t see anything saying we couldn’t post it, so…
M40R, 4.0L OHV DI Flatplane in a mid-engine car boasting 28.6m 100-0 km/h, 12.3s 1/4 mile, 4.0s 0-100 km/h, and 2.5s 80-120km/h. 
I know it won’t be all that competitive, but it’s fun! I had it at 1150kg (2500 lb), but it rolled in at $12,200!

There’s an MR2-ish body, but in 2014 it takes a serious safety penalty. 
Plus, this will appeal to the mid-life crisis gents and jocks with college paper.

Similar answers don’t always mean they’re completely correct
Besides, with “different” courses, I actually meant very different ones, trying to test all aspects of the cars’ performance.
