How about any of these?

1987 Toyota 4Runner. SUV, and better represented by SUV body, but closer to a truck than usual.

1981 Toyota Trekker. Similar to 4Runner, but aftermarket.

1990? Isuzu NPR. A bit bigger, cab-over.

The brief calls not for a high-performance truck, but a showy off-road trim.

First one is great. Second one isn’t bad as long as the flatbed is either roofless or has a removable FRP roof. The last one is too much of a comercial vehicle rather than a prívate consumer one, but cab-overs are allowed as long as they fit the rules.

I may need to add more examples, since performance pickups are also allowed entries.

Yay I can make gmc syclone but epic

Could we get more information about badging? (and naming scheme if this applies)

Yeah cuz I was looking and some trucks just have the name of the brand while others have a logo so irdk

EDIT: Added on the initial post more cars for inspirations, as well as more info regarding brand design and logo!

Is there a budget to the challenge?

CSC (Crowd Sourcing Competition) is a design based challenge, there is no engineering judged, so there is no budget.

1988 Fitz C200 Sandrunner Design Proposal

It’s a truck.. what else is there to say about it, apart from that the last photo was clearly taken in a different session, with a different position to the others.

I'm sorry, on the kit front, chaps James, what's all this? This is my belt of many things. What is that? Don't touch it. That's a dental healthcare kit. What's this? Don't touch it! That is a shoe-polishing kit. What?! A shoe-polishing kit! Thank God for that If we get hungry, we can eat his Kiwi boot polish! Basically, what you've done is buy a "My First Explorer" kit, put it on your belt Don't touch it.

“Owwwww I want my truck to be small and fuel efficient so it can support the “active lifestyle” I love so much.”

Says a TOTAL NERD!

Why would ANYONE want a SMALL TRUCK? That’s like wanting a small skyscraper or a small linebacker. In other words, they’re WORTHLESS!

“I want a fuel efficient truck.”
“I want a small truck.”
“I want a cute truck.”
