(I’m not exactly sure what to make of this, it looks like it would be a premium coupe (at least from the rear), but it costs incredibly cheap and has pretty much the interior of a base spec Toyota Corolla. Stats are eh, there are better cars for the price, although reliability and enviro res are great and service costs are the lowest out of every car.
Does not make it to the finals. )
I’m pleasantly surprised my wrong wheel drive V6 coupe made it this far. But what truly deserves praise is Yuri wrapping this round up in less than a day, and on the new unstable branch as well. Furthermore, the detailed and captivating writeups are no doubt the product of a skilled yet concerningly touch-depreaved adolescent but are very comprehensive and give this challenge something that many others lack: soul.
We don’t deserve a CSR round this good. And congratulations to the victor for successfully pulling off a somewhat risky move.
It takes balls to test the water with a CSR in 4.2 for the first time ever - but to wrap it up so quickly is an amazing feat! It’s a pity that I couldn’t enter due to my lack of faith in the alpha build, but then again, I am still busy hosting TMCC14. At any rate, this was a great round, and one that raised the bar even further.
I think this round was a very relatable round for myself. I’m not much younger than the client here and I feel that the finalists have well deserved placements, they all had very enticing vehicles I’d consider purchasing as my first vehicle too. It goes with out saying that everyone here made a valiant effort (with the exception of Kalan) to make the best car for a teenager. I would have created something too, but my dislike of change told me to stay on 4.1 as long as possible and I had virtually no motivation to come up with something unique. On the other hand, I am astounded at how quickly this round wrapped up. Yuri is here breaking records just a week into 2022. Can’t wait to see what the next round brings us.
Well it’s not too much of a Death Trap
I could of went full kit car or TVR. [Maniacal Laughter Ensues]
Yeah lore wise, FWM came out in 1995 so this was one of it’s first models and heavily influenced by a Foxbody Mustang.
Good write up and congrats to @donutsnail
I think I’ll just be echoing other people here, but that surely was the most in depth csr write ups and to be done in such a quick time is nothing short of amazing.
I think that we are many people that appreciate that you were able to finish this CSR fast. There is nothing good IMO with the judging taking forever (even if I fully understand if it HAS to take time sometimes since life comes in the way). Now, you were able to finish it quickly and thanks a lot for that. After all, CSR is kind of supposed to be relatively fast to forward everything to the next host.
I mean, what lady wouldn’t want to be in a beautiful supercar.
I get what you mean in a sense that something like a supercar wouldn’t depreciate that much. Would of been nice to get a stat related binning (practicality) rather than “it’s not what the client wants”, since, well. They could. I guess if this was made properly in campaign it would be more expensive? Because of limited numbers in the markets.
Anyway nice turnaround, good round nice story and CSS.
An incredibly impressive turnaround time, with plenty of story! Very pleased to take the first CSR of 4.2 and of 2022, and I will take on hosting the next round. It will be in 4.2, expect a post either tonight or tomorrow night. Don’t expect the same level or storytelling or CSS wizardry, though!
interesting, looks like too much power could be a factor as well haha, I should use FR instead lmao, also, is the comfort too low?
btw nice round, GG @donutsnail
also, is there any spreadsheet for this round
This might be one of my favorites, purely due to how much the story contributed to the competition, rather than distract us from it. It gave us an interesting set of priorities that required a good sense of balance. Also I somehow personally related to it. cough cough 140 which was my least favorite ever
Yuri deserves props for absolutely wiping the floor with the antis and delivering a engaging round of reasonable quality and detail.
Also going to put this for a more complete opinion
The things I was mostly disappointed with were the unwillingness to fix the situation with speed limiters not importing. Actually, bin detail was sufficient, but maybe a bit more basic than I thought.
Hey, I’m testing one of the closed alpha builds of the game, and it would be way easier if I got completed cars, so this is pretty much a request to everyone in this contest if it’s okay if I borrow your car to figure out what causes the fixture swap/nuke bug.
