CSR169 - L'Art D'Arriver [Round 1]

In the 2nd and 4th paragraph, we don’t really know what you’re talking about, we guess it’s about chromes for the first one, but the last, no idea^^
It really is ok though, remember most of french people are automatic complainers, and it’s suuuch a hard language to master…

theres some weird unusual phrasing but its pretty good nonetheless. wxcept the first sentence of the first paragraph, the start of that sentence doesnt mean anything
you can basically translate that to : “the brutal simplicity of this comparatibilty” which is kinda gibberish ig

in rhe second paragraph, it is unclear what part of the bodywork your talking about:sob::sob::sob: i would change the beginning to “L’usage du chrome sur la carrosserie rappelle la vie éclatante et luxueuse des élites” or smth like dat
its just some very unusual sentence choices, not really something a french company would use

i love your car tho
and yes we love to complain abt our language :broken_heart::broken_heart::broken_heart:im sorry

also although i hate gen ai in general, claude for example is excellent and does a WAY better job than google translate to translate, cause it also adapts with the context

Even translated, it’s a bit obtuse, I’ll grant that. Such roundabout pretensions and stuffiness are, indeed, much of the point.

I appreciate the feedback regardless!

(Le) Fluff et le fromage

The elegance of supremacy: there is simply none beyond.

The brutal simplicity of this equation contrasts sharply with the unequalled comfort and unparalleled refinement of the 1937 DCMW Asil al Hawa, Supremacy Twelve. At the same time, the crude might of two hundred purebred (“Asil” in Arabic) horses belies the impeccable manners with which they obey the driver’s every whim.

The chrome strips of the car symbolize a wise, learned life of judicious choices. From the start, they quickly multiply in number and direction, swooping every which way. An early pentagonal high point is quickly reached, vanishing quickly but never forgotten. As we approach the cabin, the choices recede from center stage, now taken up by a place of serenity and comfort.

There, you might contemplate what you’ve got in the present moment: a supercharged 5.0L V12, a four-speed fully synchronized manual transmission, a double-wishbone front and coil-sprung rear suspension, perfect 50/50 weight balance, and the finest wheels money can buy, all carefully tuned to make a car as easy and enjoyable to drive as to ride in. A spacious trunk with an additional fold-away luggage rack, two spare wheels, and 120 liters of fuel capacity good for up to 769km allow for long and grand adventures. The dashboard of bookmatched Macassar ebony and flamed maple, a heater, electric starter and windshield wipers, and AM radio create an interior ambiance you won’t be in a hurry to leave. One feature ahead of its time is a carpeted pad below the dashboard. Another is optimized combustion (WES5), which provides not only the aforementioed economy - 15.6L/100km - but also a more pleasant olfactory experience.

As we arrive at the gently curved rear, the multitude of choices has receded, low and sidelined. Two solid alternatives remain, more proximate but still peripheral. And in the center, a singularity appears and soon resolves at a refrain of that previous pentagonal high point. It’s been the obvious choice from the start. For those who demand the very best, it’s the only choice there is.

Aether Voiture Atelier is proud to offer Lady Belcour the 17/2 “Plein Air” as an answer to her commission request. The bespoke coachwork of this 17/2 roadster is swept rearward in elegant strokes, mimicking the gauzy, effortless works of the impressionist painters that inspired this build. It’s finished in a hazy, enigmatic blue tone with the polished aluminium brightwork that Aether is known for. A dash of ruby enamel runs through the side molding to bring energy and tension to the design. Geometric, modern elements in the fender skirting and rear wheel covers keep the design fresh and the glass fox hood ornament leads the way for Lady Belcour on her future tours across europe.

The engineering of the Plein Air is typical Aether 17/2 through and through. The hand built body is crafted from aircraft grade aluminium, as befitting a brand that has its roots in airplane manufacture, and is a featherweight compared to most of its American rivals. Being a roadster in body style, the roof of this 17/2 stows neatly in a specialized carrying case in the top of the boot, easily accessible and quickly deployable at the slightest chance of precipitation. Bespoke Hermès luggage is also included, colour matched to either the paint or interior(client’s choice). The 8.5 liter V16 provides silky smooth power in all 4 gears and enough torque to pass other drivers effortlessly. The supercharger on this particular variant adds a further pep to the Plein Air, reminiscent of Aether’s grand prix offerings.

Piloting the 17/2 Plein Air is as effortless as its power delivery. A precisely weighted steering box reduces steering effort down to what a mere palm on the edge of the wheel provides. The 4 speed “synchronisation hydraulique” transmission provides similar ease of use, making shifting a natural, almost automatic motion. Polished cherry burl, fine leather, and bright metal ensconce the driver of the Plein Air. All the latest creature comforts are at their fingertips: electric starter, high end radio, etc. The turned aluminum gauge cluster includes all relevant data a driver could want, including an altimeter for the truly adventurous. Rounding out the interior of the 17/2 Plein Air are the silk accent panels, boasting a modern, geometric pattern in soft blues and creams, sourced from the Belcour fabric catalogues. This final flourish cements the Plein Air as a sensual, bespoke artwork to fulfill Lady Belcour’s desire for elegant transportation.

Meet the one, the only CBC Beta luxueux

I’m not aiming to win, this was just too fun of a challenge idea to pass and resist the lore/world building for myself! I had fun and glad I made this car. Super happy with it.

mindless blabbering for lore

Carsten Berg coaches finding success with their race car, the CBC Beta, due to request of a few Nobel families and higher class lords, transform their race ready chassis to a more tame, and street ready car. The engine is taken out and replaced by a separate licensed engine to make the power deliver smoother and tamed. The fenders were attached to the chassis with rivets, tried to keep them hidden as much as possible. the styling was done by an art college graduate at age of 25, making the overworked engineers work even harder to allow the new design fit the crude chassis, the suspension travel did not fit the new fender curves so they made holes and extra links, making a graceful exposed suspension, the lights couldn’t withstand their weight which made the two support bars added to reinforce them, taking the barbaric Beta to what you see… In the end, the car came to be a much cheaper option to other coach built classics helping it to gain good sells as the car of new nobility.

It takes time to appreciate it fully.

Sinclair was born into the world of taste and refinement, and in that world, it reigns supreme. It’s heritage of transoceanic yatching has merged with the search of the ultimate motor vehicle for it’s client.

It has always designed and built for the detailist. It chose that market deliberately thirty years ago and today would not know how to sacrifice quality and build cheaply.

But taste and appreciation grow with leisure and means- a reflection of national prosperity. This generation numbers in the thousands those who may gratify their love of fine things, where there were but hundreds a quarter century ago.

Sinclair’s clientele includes an increasing number of men and women of distinction who now may have the car they have always admired and wanted.

Sinclair cars today, with the gace of their characteristic lines enhanced- their enriched beauty of finish and appointments, their almost magical riding and driving comfort- offer literally a new luxury in motoring to a distinguished international patronage.

The Grand Pacific is the last iteration of the Grand Oceanic Tourers, and the ultimate blend of exquisite taste and mesmerizing dynamics.

The pics i used aren’t exactly small. X3

Hello, I’ve imported all the .cars so far, and unfortunately I think there’s some error/issues with required or missing mods.

A while ago I had to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to all the mods on the workshop and I think(??) some of the mods got removed or taken down by the devs.

I’m not sure what to do since I know this wouldn’t be too fair for the people since the mods are actually for significant parts of some cars, and I can’t find what mods it’s using (it’s not listed on workshop and I can’t subscribe / it doesn’t show up on the import menu).

The cars majorly affected are from @Capri78 (a couple in the middle of the interior and the rear, I think roof?), @Prium (something in the middle of the interior - a roof maybe?) , @DrDoomD1scord (the entire roof lol), @moroza (I think badges?)

I have a feeling one of the roof mods got taken down :frowning:

Atleast for my car, the interior missing things I have no idea about [textures perhaps, if so, it’s likely the “CS Mat Pack”], the missing thing on the rear is a badge from the ‘FRAMES’ mod and the roof is part of ‘shadow’s roof fixture pack 3’ which appears to still be available.

Not sure about the other guys cars, but I suspect the roofs might come from the same place.

Hmm yeah I’m not able to get these (it shows in-game it’s already subscribed), I’ll try to see if there’s another way

The 1937 Grombulous Stilletto

The Stilletto is the latest evolution in automotive superiority from the Grombulous family of coachbuilders. For the discerning buyer who spares no expense, this model includes a V12 with all exhaust headers proudly on display, which can propel the Stilletto to 140mph. Our seats are hand-stitched with patented Grombleather to provide the best sitting experience money can buy. The hydraulic self-engaging transmission effortlessly lets even amateur stop and start with only the gas and brake pedals, and switches between high and low gear at the appropriate time- all by itself! But the hydraulic wonders don’t end there. Simply push the steering wheel with one finger and the powered steering rack guides the car exactly where you want it. This is the closest you can get to a car which drives itself.

Bad Old Version

A committee of designers helped us improve our body design from our original prototype:

This latest version of the stilletto includes the features you asked for! The paint scheme no longer resembles a vulgar street food which you might be offered on the Jersey Shore. The body has been refined with smoother, more feminine curves, and simplified with the elimination of the original “butt trumpet” exhaust.

lore

Auréal has taken on the role to build one of the greatest French luxury cars the world has seen and the story stars in the French mountains of Pyrenees. French coach builder Auréal takes his talents to the highest level of building making the 88C Montclair Étoile Teardrop. originally concepted with a I8 but comes with a large V12 pushing enough power to rival race cars. it drives well too so yea. the flowing lines were inspired by the mountains themselves and builds on the idea of earthy flows which connects the car to the same mountains Auréal grew up around.

hello everyone, short quick update, ended up busy this weekend so didn’t do anything csr-wise, but i’ve pretty much got all the submission so far.

as for mod issues, i will try to re-subscribe to the mods, then re-download .car files and re-import the cars. if this still doesn’t work i’ll try my best to use the ad pictures to judge the missing mods, but yeah the pics i take might be a little funny.

thanks!
