CTC - Car Tycoon Challenge #4 - 1977 [RESULTS]

Don’t download, make a copy onto your own googledrive.

So, I fixed the forumulas, and it went up to the 20’s in a few categories. I still have a lot of work ahead, apparently.

I had the scores being the same between groups problem as well, but assumed it was just down to my ancient version of excel breaking everything in the conversion from .xlsx to .xls, so it wasn’t your edit that broke things because I’m the idiot who tried to charge $100 trillion for a car and let you know that things got broken :stuck_out_tongue:

Right, let’s try this challenge again. I’ve once again used the design of my previous cars, but altered their engines and such.

Besar 78, the luxury sedan. The version I sent in for this challenge is black.

The 1977 Kuda, a muscle car. The version I sent in for the challenge is red.

The recently born ŽM-Automobili Group present under a similar body two complete different interpretation of car.

The Blue Marlin Motori Stradali present the new Salmon GT, a purebreed sportscar (as usual sold along with a pair of driving gloves) and the Žnoprešk Avto present the brand new Zap! 1.2 a practical and economic car for the family.

Uh oh… Znopresk is in the house. Maybe I should have upped production on the Piper SE…

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present to you the all new Strolls-Boyce 6.5L!!!
The new leader in super luxury motoring.

Because why would you Rolls, when you can Strolls?

Time for some cubic moustache stuff!

First entry is the Moustache Cubester, cheap low end family car.

My second entry is the Moustache Coupster, mid/high sports coupe.

We are close to hit 50 cars in the competition! Keep them coming!

These are my entries: One hot hatch being the example in the spreadsheet, just with a different name (BAM 1300 S). My second car is the BAM 3900 GT, a high-end coupé wrapped in shiny aluminium.

Here is my submission in the what now appears to be a highly contested market, hopefully some of its more unique qualities will set it apart.

Once again I have saved money by sacking all the bodywork designers and getting the cleaner to throw something together before he locks up for the night. Hopefully the performance will be better than the looks

edit
Just found another potential exploit but it should be incredibly easy to fix though. If you set the factory to a negative maximum production run it will give you a huge amount of money instead of costing you money. It should be easily fixable by either giving the factory cost and tooling multiplier a minimum value, or the production run a minimum value

Well… I will sort those out manually.

sigh… now I’m regretting not pumping up my production numbers a bit more…

you and me both - ah well, it’s just a game

Less than 22 hours to go! We currently have 61 cars in the competition.

Here are my Entries for the CTC #4. I hope the PN will arrive at Der Bayer, cause they are stuck in the output.

The brandnew Adrett 1200 S with 60HP(inspired by the Opel Kadett C City)

And here is the Fakir 2600S with 135HP (inspired by the Car of the Year 1977 Rover SD1)

I have done 2 Lets Plays for this Cars and gonna post them as soon as i converted the Videos.

I think when the PMs are in the output folder it only means that I haven’t read them yet. I got them, yes.

The Landau, not at all inspired by the '76 Monte Carlo.

My entries are in.

One is under 7k in price just for the hell of it.

BLASPHEMY! Nothing can be cheaper than a Žnoprešk…
Joke aside, I’m curious about the stats of the car.
